well, I have never had apple try to divert me more than 2000 miles out of the way on a cross-town trip, nor google on an in-stte trip go out of the way by more than, well, the Atlantic, which it told me to swim!
Mapquest was a piker; it didn't ask any more than that I apparently take a running...
when my '02 E150 was new, I found that some ford dealers charged less for the oil change with the mandatory semi-synthetic than it cost me to get five quarts of semi-synthetic. Early on, it was hard to find, and the warranty wasn't clear on whether full synthetic would meet it.
Hey, I'm...
there are certainly a number of snake oils out there; I couldn't guess as to whether that is one or not.
I can tell you that the Techron additive is simply an even more concentrated version of what goes into Chevron's top tier.
nah, one bank reference is my limit!

whiteboard wrap?
(a quarter century ago [yikes!], I didn't realize that whiteboard was only $10 for a 4x8 sheet. So I went through the hassle of only being able to order from the universities supplier's catalog [so they could get a discount that left it still above market price], and ended up...
I was having this fight on our new '25 Maverick (sync 4).
It would put whatever I chose from CarPlay on the Ian section, and ford stuff (usually either nav, or the ford display of what was playing on pandora).
when my already low phone was losing charge while in the magnetic bay doing nav and...
but this is about gas additives.
And Cadillac, BMW, Toyota, and the like would be quite surprised to find that TopTier doesn't matter.
Techron additive is a concentrate of chevron's version of the toptier additives.
If you regularly use toptier, other gas additives will not generally be...
Even back on my '83 cougar, the compressor was set to run (periodically?) briefly on startup to keep things lubricated. The dealer tech warned me that putting off the repair until it warmed up in a few months could cause damage (compressor failure?).
(I really don't recall what the repair was)
I'll believe in Bezos' $20k trucklet when Blue Origin reaches orbit, err, when I see it.
This doesn't seem much different than others that have announced "coming soon". (apteros, Nikola, . . . )
but, more importantly, how many of these fit in the bed of an F-150?
🤔
that shortage wasn't caused by covid.
It was entirely because auto manufacturers cancelled their orders, and the production spots were picked up by other industries, which prevented them from being able to schedule production when they found that the sky hadn't fallen!
Classic case of lower...
I've searched for a two-step aftermarket unit for my wife, but haven't found one. I toy with the idea of staking two, but really don't feel like designing the controller . . .
one thought on aftermarket polarized things . . . I put a modern stereo unit into what had been my father's '98 F-150--the original had to be disabled due to a short that was brutally vampiring the battery.
Even though it was a major brand, the idiots managed to polarize the screen at 45...
I wish I could say that I have no idea why it would do that, but I've learned more about sending units than I ever wanted to know. (Start with: the fact that they exist!)
