Firm no for all the reasons already mentioned. They aren't necessary on an aluminum F150.

It's not necessarily the tracking as much as who is doing it. Yes, there is Google, Amazon, Apple, Samsung, Ford and all of the other huge companies doing it. But do you want some Chinese company no one really knows anything about tracking you? For me that's the issue.

I'm not aware of a video, but that was by far the worst part of the install for me. Use a coat hanger wire or something similar to feed it through. Just be patient. I did not take any part of the dash apart.

Both my nearest Walmart and Costco charge the same price for H7 and H8. No reason not to go H8 if it fits. I did not have to make any modifications to the wires to go from H6 to H8.

Well when I get my daughter out of the back seat, I get out, close my door, get her out and then push the lock button on the handle. It's a nice little feature that I use frequently. It would get annoying fast if there was a few second lag.
