In just another of a long long list of problems with my '22 F-150 the alarm can not be deactivated.
Whether I choose to turn off the alarm completely in the menu or choose to be asked about deactivating the interior sensors during exit the alarm ALWAYS defaults to active as soon as I shut off...
Love that color.
I get he parking problems. I just park out in the north 40. I figure the extra walking is good for me anyway.
A lot of work has already been done to my truck to try to find the vibration...more parts replacing than actual troubleshooting.
I've been telling them since day one...
I'm not sure I can help here but here's my thoughts.
Young mechanics these days rely on tech devices way to much to do their job, Yes, these tools are helpful but it seem the old school guys who learned to troubleshoot using their brains are hard to find and their are things that require a...
UPDATE.
The first day I took the truck in I said it felt like a pinion bearing issue. At various times over the two years I told the service guy more that once, the service director twice and the mechanic that worked on my truck the entire time once.
They finally brought in the 2nd Ford...
Hey all I have a question for the super cab longbed 4wd guys. I don't care what engine but please list your engine and if you have the 4wd auto option or not.
I am having a vibration issue with mine, and the dealership has spent two years and even had Ford engineers look at this truck and no fix...
Now that's something I wouldn't have expected. I'll look into it.
I just have the dealer do the rotation while its there...and to this point they've never charged me so I've never personally had the tires off, at which point an inspection of brakes and giving the wheel a good spin and wiggle...
I know someone has an angle meter, I was just lied to and I knew it then. Just people not wanting to do any more work than absolutely necessary to get their check.
Agreed. I'm beginning to think my assumption that this truck was put together correctly is wrong...
I'll look into the app.
Thx...
No just two years of guessing. the truck has had vibration analyzers on it at least two times but that didn't help.
No, no change ever...they're running out of parts to replace. So using that metric we should be getting close to finding the culprit. lol.
I have asked if there was an old school...
I see your point but the frequency doesn't change if I use different gears. And it ALWAYS comes in around 40 mph with a peak around 50 (doesn't matter which gear) then starts falling off (it seems like it is only because the frequency is increasing so much) but never goes away.
I can put my...
As mentioned the driveshaft was replaced...both halves, the pillow block, front u-joint and the rear CV on the ends.
All non greasable. All in good condition and not getting worse...at least not at any measurable pace over the last 15k miles. I'm waiting for something to go boom so it will be...
No.
Which brings up a question.
If you need to be reminded to look in the backseat for your kids are you responsible enough to have them?
I never forget I have my dog with me much less my offspring.

I have had a driveline vibration for about 2 years...the truck is still under warranty and the dealer keeps replacing parts and even has had Ford engineers looking at the truck and no one can figure it out so I am reaching out to the...
This could have been an issue for months but if it's over 60 I don't leave her in the truck...now that it's cooler she can do more errands with me.
