  1. Front Bumper Parking Sensor Surround

It's replaceable... it's just part of the retainer that holds the sensor.
  2. Can't get power running boards to stay out on 22 PB

The running boards sit lower than standard running boards. Leaving them deployed all the time will result in damaging them. That is why they retract above 5MPH regardless of what setting you have. Go over a slightly taller than normal speed bump and they will scrape. But if you really want to...
  3. Is this a full kit required to upgrade to 12” screen in the 2022 xl ?

You'll need to have it programmed with your VIN. I suggest contacting someone like @Jesse-Infotainment or @rugedraw for some guidance.
  4. Is this a full kit required to upgrade to 12” screen in the 2022 xl ?

You do need the new lower panel as the audio controls are relocated to it when you go to a 12" screen. You can pull the A/C controls from your existing panel and transfer them to the new one since most of the features on the new panel A/C controls won't work at all. They'll look pretty but be...
  5. Does BlueCruise facial camera operate even when not in active BlueCruise mode.

It uses all 3 cameras. Cruise control, Lane Keep, and Lane Centering all require the windshield camera to be unobstructed in order to activate. The driver alert system also requires the two infrared cameras (driver door pillar, center console) inside the cab to monitor the driver's eyes. If you...
  6. SuperCrew vs. SuperCab comparison (specs & features)

The Hybrid battery is partially under the cab, not just the bed. This is why it's not an option for the SCab. No room for it as the transmission would be in the way. Only real option would be to remove the spare tire and put it between the rails there, but not sure I'd want to get rearended with...
  7. FX4 Off road package

After having the FX4 package on my 2019 Lariat, I purposely looked for a truck without it. The skid plates are garbage, and the shocks sucked. I put Fox 2.0 on all 4 corners with a 2" level and it handled so much better. I now have a 23 Platinum 4x4. I added hill decent (new switch, jumper...
  8. Vehicle Software Update History Now Available in Your Ford Account

Both vehicles are registered to my FordPass account, which is also my FDRS login as well. VIN are correct and everything else works just fine.
  9. Vehicle Software Update History Now Available in Your Ford Account

Doesn't show anything for my Truck. Most likely confusing my truck with my wife's 2022 Explorer, which is SYNC 3. EDIT: now I just get an error... "We apologize for the error. We are working to correct it and request you try again later.:"
  10. HELP! Would you buy this truck?

I'd buy it. I bought my 23 Platinum, that was a service vehicle (loaner) with 4k miles on it... if the dealer treated it right, take the deal and save the $$$. They shaved $14k off of mine.
  11. A "fix" for the Unreal Theme's misaligned audio fader with Forscan

I have the same graphic issue, however front to back fading does work for me using that screen. When listening to SiriusXM, I have to pull the front speaker mix back. The B&O system sends the majority of the sound out of the front center speaker for SiriusXM. HD Radio is fine.
  12. Random speed changes with cruise control

Does that for me on 101 Loop in west Phoenix. There's a 1 mile stretch that suddenly drops from 65 down to 50. No speed limit sign changes, but it's consistent every time I hit that section of freeway. As HammaMan stated, their map must be outdated.
  13. Are Hybrids more likely to catch fire

Yep.. you're right about the water pump...I forgot it's on the same belt as the BISG. The oil system is an odd one as it still shows pressure (14-ish PSI) when in electric mode. I assumed it was using an electric oil pump or even an aux oil pump to maintain the pressure.
  14. Are Hybrids more likely to catch fire

I'm not talking about the physical door itself, but the capless filler tube construction.
  15. Are Hybrids more likely to catch fire

Same door on both. There are two seals on the filler tube. The one you see is more of a debris shield whereas the inner one is the seal. It's why you have to use the special filler funnel if filling with a gas can. It holds that inner door open.
  16. Are Hybrids more likely to catch fire

Yes. A leaking tank seal will throw a DTC. All fuel injected vehicles have a pressurized fuel tank to some degree. Most DMV inspection stations will check tank pressure at the cap. The return line from the fuel rail feed back into the gas tank under pressure. This is like a feedback loop. The...
  17. Are Hybrids more likely to catch fire

Hybrid drivetrains are in its simplest form just an ICE engine with an electric helper motor. The ICE component in a hybrid operates the same as an ICE only vehicle. Hybrids have some minor differences like an electric oil pump. This keeps oil flowing at a lower pressure than operating pressure...
  18. ECU module programming guide using FDRS

The issue with Tesla's system is Musk overhyped its hands-free capabilities and Tesla buyers believe him. Tesla systems rely on cameras and not radar or lidar to calculate distance and speed. Tesla stopped installing a front radar sensor back in 2021. Apparently, Musk REALLY wanted to simulate a...
  19. Simplest Way to Generate a DTC?

Reach under the dash and unplug the IPMA... I 100% guarantee you'll generate a code. 😄
  20. Are Hybrids more likely to catch fire

Hybrid vehicle engines are for the most part, identical to an ICE vehicles. Fuel system is identical. Both use an electric fuel pump to maintain line pressure at all times. Cooling systems can vary from having a mechanical water pump (ICE) vs Eletric water pump on a hybrid, A/C systems are...
