  1. Prices are a bit spendy compared to my 22 Lariat V8

There was a shortage of parts during mid-2022, so Ford temporarily deleted it from everything from 501A down. https://www.f150gen14.com/forum/threads/connected-navigation-and-siriusxm-force-removal.10756/ Amusingly, I once drove a rental KIA that still had manual windows but had Sirius due to a...
  2. Prices are a bit spendy compared to my 22 Lariat V8

I annoyingly got bit by the SiriusXM/Nav factory delete. SiriusXM’s app via CarPlay works, but about 25% of the time the app needs to be restarted before it’ll play music. I had selected the start/stop delete so I wasn’t upset when that one became a mandatory delete.
  3. Prices are a bit spendy compared to my 22 Lariat V8

Frustratingly the 500A is no more. I got mine with bench seats, something I wanted along with 4A and the 2.7, and which led me to the Lariat 500A...now neither bench seats or the 2.7 are options for a Lariat. Ford recently said they’re going to ramp up lower cost production, I hope that...
  4. Ordering-has Ford lost it?

I’m not going to lie, I’m not a fan of Ford’s reduction of ordering options with the F-150, with increased use of packaging and reduction of trim codes. When I ordered my 2022 I had a very specific set of things I wanted, I now can’t replace that combination if/when I need to replace my truck...
  5. 2024 F-150 Order Guide (Updated with JOB 2 Guide)

Huh, so Lariat bumps to 5.0 standard, which means it’s no longer possible to get the 2.7 with 4A. I get the logic, especially as they previously deleted 500A and pushed Lariat up in price, but it’s kind of a shame how price-heavy the option of the 4A is getting and moving up a previously $995...
  6. Alleged 5.0 commodity restraint

I’m betting he’s misunderstood an ordering deadline, like “all SuperCab 5.5 bed 5.0 X-Y trim level orders must be placed by Z date for 2023MY.”
  7. Connected Navigation and SiriusXM force removal

I figured it was possible without major changes, since the antenna was reportedly the missing item. Do you by any chance have a list of part numbers you used?
  8. X-Plan Through Sam’s Club

Huh, I thought Sam’s Club worked like Costco, where a third party service connects you with dealers who will accept a price that roughly equates to X-plan, rather than simply giving you an xplan pin. This suggests they use TrueCar...
  9. I'm being charged for options that are not on the truck that Ford delivered..

My dealer correctly credited the deletion of items into our agreed order price. Unfortunately, not all dealers are on the level.
  10. Ford Removed My Packages?

You should have been informed these items were being deleted. Several of these (the 360 cameras, the heated steering wheel, advanced security package, etc) are well known deletes that are happening a lot, plenty of reports about it on the forum here and dealers were all sent notices about it, so...
  11. My 18 Months of Waiting Is Almost Over... But...

Strike that, it was on a MachE forum.
  12. My 18 Months of Waiting Is Almost Over... But...

The flyer with some of the details is in this thread. https://www.f150gen14.com/forum/threads/price-protection-new-vehicle-orders.10006/ A forum user posted where the dealer can find the information in their system in a thread, I’ll try to find it.
  13. My 18 Months of Waiting Is Almost Over... But...

There is, but it isn’t precisely binding on the dealer, and changes to the order can reset the clock. My dealer honored price protection, but not everybody has been so lucky. It looks like from their comments above their dealer refused to honor it.
  14. 17 Months Still Have Not Received F150 King Ranch!

It is likely your vehicle is indeed on chip hold. Fully loaded vehicles have been heavily impacted by chip holds, more chips, more things to get held up. However, at this point, I personally would reach out to Ford customer service and confirm the status information the dealer is providing you...
  15. Shocked at the price increase!

My Lariat isn’t even possible anymore. 500A is gone. I am not sure what I’d do if I had to replace mine anytime soon, as the 4A transfer case is a dealbreaker for me, but entry level on Lariat is now way too rich for my blood. Well, hopefully that’s not an issue for many years…or maybe Ford will...
  16. 17 Months Still Have Not Received F150 King Ranch!

September 2022, I assume? Yeah, that sounds like maybe you’re on chip hold following delays due to a lousy dealer allocation (and of course the original order screwup).
  17. 17 Months Still Have Not Received F150 King Ranch!

Out of curiosity, who have you been attempting to get updates from? The dealer? Ford customer service? I’d like to see what options you have remaining for escalation. Also, what is the full build summary of your order? I’m wondering if there is a commodity issue the dealer never resolved. A...
  18. 2023 Lariat Dual Exhaust

I just ran it myself, it looks from the image that they’re using is the picture for the Lariat 3.5 EcoBoost 4x4 with BAP. Note the black bumper. The BAP comes with dual exhaust on the 4X4 3.5 only. They’ve accidentally mixed up their images on the website. (That said, never take the images as...
  19. Price Protection Lost with Small Opition Change.

This is normal. A sunroof is not a minor change, it can impact scheduling and procurement for Ford. The price protection gets dropped when you make a change like this, and if the dealer discussed price protection with you, this should have come up. That said, dealers often don’t know (or at...
  20. MY 23 Heated mirrors & wheel? Maybe Not 😡

Unfortunately, the cost and difficulty will vary a tad depending on how they implement the delete. If they completely change which mirror assembly they’re using, that could be very expensive…and require painting…the whole mirror assembly for my Lariat is $1100+ at my closest local dealer that...
