I'm under original warranty. Whereas the TSB is a 2-4 hour job, there are other gremlins including mechanical that require more time. Thus the free rental.
My truck is going into the dealer next week to correct a range of issues (software and mechanical), including the CarPlay issues described in TSB 25-2048. They're providing me with a rental car and I assume the work will require 2-3 days.
My 2022 has 2 months remaining on the original Ford warranty, and consequently the Ford Performance warranty would only be good for the remaining 2 months of the new vehicle warranty. Am I reading this right?

Video the screen when it is doing this and not with CarPlay in use. Anytime there’s another app present during this screen change the first thing the tech will say is “it’s the CarPlay app.” Only record using the native-to-Vehicle apps when this is happening.
