Seems like a better way to roll them out would have been to ask for some beta testers to see how the worked. Then built an inventory of working lights before offering for sale.
From video looks like it plugs into maybe the main alarm brain behind the hvac control. Have not done it as of yet. May just pay dealer if not to pricy. Ford parts website says $210 to instal
I ordered part ML3Z19A361A that adds the shock sensor to the basic alarm. Per Ford web site this fits my 22 F-150, not returnable. I just got this it is supposed to plug into the OBD plug and adds a new OBD port plug to replace the one it takes. Problem is it not will not plug into OBD plug...
Never know in this state. People can buy at their own risk. All the extended warranty companies don’t do Ca. Read the fine print. So who knows. Not saying it’s correct, but just an fyi. Would hate for someone to spend the money just to get screwed.
It shows where vehicle was bought and would show where warranty came from. Moving into state I would assume is covered. Florida has similar rules. People can do as they wish
They can tell where it sold from. Would assume moving here would be different story. Then buying truck in ca and warranty out of state. It’s all stupid anyways.
