If memory serves, Continuously Controlled Damping and onboard scales were added in MY20222. So, unless you added it, your 2021 doesn’t have it. Otherwise, it’s on the window sticker or in your APIM under Features -> Onboard Scales.
I don’t have experience or knowledge on the trailer side...
I'm not sure what specifically you saw about glare-free being broken. It works great on my 21 Plat. I find it a ton better than auto highbeams. Glare-free fades in and out, and occludes things in the projection smoothly. The auto highbeams would just flip on and off jarringly. Glare-free keeps...
I just finished a 3,564 mile round trip to Phoenix to spend Christmas with my family. I took the southern route through Missouri, Oklahoma, Texas, and New Mexico. Three days driving there (around 8.5 hours each day) and three back.
Through an ice storm (I saw four semis that had slid into...
I just checked the paperwork. I didn’t get charged. As far as I can tell they did everything else on their maintenance schedule checklist, just not the cabin filter.
I replaced the cabin air filter today with a Bosch HEPA filter. I love that no tools are needed. It was supposed to be replaced for my 20k service I had a month ago at the dealer service shop. It clearly wasn't replaced since it was filthy. I guess I'm not surprised, just disappointed.
Something something great power great responsibility. I’d say disclaimer it more if desired, but don’t redact. This is how we learn. Besides, 3-6 hours is already a deterrent right?
Good luck, @Kidastra!
I just put 1200 miles (towards 3500 for this trip) on BC 1.4 in the past two days. I'm really digging the improvements. I didn't think much of assisted lane change originally, but now having used it a lot, I'm hooked.
The curve speed reduction is ok too, although it doesn't always guess the...
Sure, I wasn’t saying I wasn’t. I’m saying at some point, if Ford releases software for F-150s for 1.5, and if that includes 2021s, and it’s an option for my truck in FDRS, I’m ready! I have no expectations that will be for Christmas this year or anytime soon, if ever. I’m just saying there’s a...
I’ll be driving to Phoenix for Christmas and I’m going to bring the mongoose cable in case @rugedraw has some 1.5 Christmas gifts for us. 😆 BC is a welcome helper for 3500 miles.
I’ll drop this here because I keep forgetting which BC version does what.
Unless your truck had some abnormal need, sounds like you got scammed. Ford has it in the FordPass app:
My 10k service was $80ish. So was my 20k. I don’t even see a 15k routine service.
LT tire package right there in the optional equipment. Looks like you need more air in those tires! I agree on the rounding speculation. That one tire is probably 34.5 and just below the threshold.
It should still work. I had mine fail recently too due to corrosion. You may want to do some reseating/jiggling and continuity/resistance checks. It might need replacing. I just updated everything I could in FDRS a few weeks ago and it didn’t mess with the resistor hack for me.
I run into this occasionally backing up too when there are coach lights it can see. I think if you just turn off the headlights the auto dimming shuts off too. Not super helpful if when moving forward, but in reverse the headlights aren’t helping much anyway. Most of the time I love the...
There is a lot of great info in this thread! I think I’m going to pick up that Diehard toolkit to stash in my truck along with my tire inflator, gloves, Lysol wipes, first aid kit, a folding snow shovel, and Tabasco sauce. I’m planning to drive from Illinois to Arizona for Christmas and want to...
