funny you mention that. I ended up finding a GX500 that I liked. A bit quicker (and of course a bit plusher inside) than the Land Cruiser. Will be swapping the OEM wheels for a wider wheelset and some Nitto A/T tires.
Sadly, I'm selling/trading my 2021 Lariat PB. We sold our travel trailer and I'm gonna downsize to an SUV of some kind (Land Cruiser probably). It's been a lot of fun getting to know quite a few of you characters, debugging Ford's software, sharing ideas for mods, and quite a few laughs...
Holy crap. That's a lot of work and disassembly. Feels like the "fix" could lead to lots of other issues as a result of the intrusive nature of the repair.
Was this component updated in later model year F-150s?
Oh, totally. I don't see myself driving an EV. A PHEV like the RAM Charger, maybe, but not until it has a couple years on the market to work out the bugs. I want to get to my destination, not sit in a charging waiting line!
There are a few people on here with an FDRS software subscription and can see exactly what your dealer did or did not do to your truck. Once you connect with someone, message them your VIN and they can see the very detailed history.
This is a total sh*tshow. I have no way to track whether the request was submitted, what its status is, or why the warning exists. It has been a couple months and it is still not cleared. And there doesn't appear to be anyone at Ford to contact for information.
Anyone have contacts that can...
