So the passenger side kick panel fuse box on the 2024 Platinum looks different from the 23 Raptor.
Has anyone installed a dashcam on their 24 yet? I'm looking for which fuse to tap into for 12V switched power.
I don't have a tool to test...yet. I usually come on here and search for posts but...
According to a member on the Powerboost Facebook group I'm on his dealer currently has 20 trucks with blown turbos. All 2024s. He didn't specify details about which engines but everything I've seen has been the hybrids since that really what I'm following.
I'll reach out to the members who...
Been reading on the FB groups and in these forums.... seems like the 2024 Powerboost have significant problems like blown turbos and severe engine misfires at lest than 3K miles. Some less than 1000.
What changed that there now so many probs? Winder if ford will do a voluntary recall like...
Hey all,
Does anyone have the part number for the new tie down on Job 2 trucks? I'd like to replace the box link cleats with the new style. I believe the super duties use them but haven't been able to find the P/N.
Florida's consumer rights and protection are a joke. I'm a FL resident too. At 900 miles similar issue with my 24. Its.fixed now but spent 2 weeks with clueless techs tearing everything part for a simple injector replacement. All they had to.do was connect to the computer.
Ended up buying...
I just picked up a platinum 703A. Live the KR and the interior and prob would have gone that route.
However, wasn't a fan of Two tone being the only option. Wish chrome bumpers still available.
UPDATE:
Got a call. It took over a week for them to diagnose. However, it turned out to be an injector on cyl 4.
They found the problem after switch coils, compression test etc.
Odd thing is, wouldn't they see that the injector on cyl 4 not working correctly when they connected it to the...
I wouldn't take delivery of a truck awaiting QA period. I had one on order that was built in Jan and just got delivered. I passed
Of course I picked.ine off the lot that was built at the end if April and it misfires. It's all crap shoot at this point
Do you mind sharing the phone numbers or Dept you opened up your case with?
I need to do the same for my 24 Lariat Powerboost. Multiple cylinder misfire they have not been able to fix after 10 days.
That sucks! I feel for you. Not to hijack your post but I just experienced a similar issue.
Got a 24 Powerboost on Memorial day. at 1024 miles later I started have a misfire that turned into multiple cylinder misfires. Dropped it off at the dealer on Sat July 13. Now 13 days later they...
I just purchased a 24 Powerboost on Memorial Day. Only 1000 miles on it and 150 miles into a 200 road trip started misfiring on all cylinders with with flashing engine light.
Now its at a dealer 180 miles away for the last 9 days. They still haven't been able to diagnose the problem. They...
I don't quite get it. The 502A, 702A etc are the high packages that come with the HUD.
So if they are getting very few orders for those then there shouldn't be a restriction.
I can assume they will prob start deleting the HUD and issuing a credit if we order a 502A or 702A.
Just saw a video on on current scheduling for 150s. They said the HUD was restricted. So needed to order 401a, 501a, 701a etc. What does restricted mean?
Well The service advisor said the tech tried everything under the sun to diagnose the problem and they still have no clue. They are going to reach out to Ford to help diagnose the misfires. Ford usually takes one to two business days to get back to them.
Thanks. Spoke to the service advisor today. They did a couple of updates including this TSB and it's still acting up. Service advisor said they are still diagnosing.
