Love the PB (I have one)- but I think you'll be very lucky to average close to 10 mpg towing a 7400 lb. RV. Between the weight and drag it's probably closer to 7-9 mpg.
It's more than that: They failed to find and disclose ALL these issues- some fairly obvious, in their PPI- which THEY request 10-14 days to complete. Had that occurred- this truck never would have made it to the flatbed to be shipped.
Granger screwed up- plain and simple- but Granger should...
I got a half safe for my '23 F150 a year or so ago- fits good- but I see the price is up to $309. No complaints with mine so far though:

There have to be millions of options spread over hundreds of different lifestyles- and you think they must ALL appeal to you? Are you 7?
“Do you guys act like this in real life….”
Man, that is a fantastic question I honestly have for you.
Why two separate trips? I mean, you aren’t paying for the truck sight unseen if you are paying cash. If you don’t like the truck when you head out to pick it up, don’t buy it. Your deposit is lost either way (whether you make one trip or two).
I’m over the whole “it’s never happened to me so it never will” crowd. There’s no convincing them- and they have every right to live the way they choose.
It really is too much though when they come in here telling other folks they are a fool to live how they want to. They seem personally...
Here’s what I don’t understand: Why are you even IN this thread? The guy asks about a holster and the rest of us have to navigate around your drivel about gun ownership while you drop F bombs on us?
I’d ask you to exercise some self control and stay out of the thread since it doesn’t pertain...
That isn’t the issue; of course they are going to make a mistake like this every once in a while. It’s their response to the egregious oversight on their part that’s the problem. There’s lots of folks right now waiting to see if Granger wants to communicate that it’s ok for this to happen- or if...
I agree- and you're point is well taken- but emphasizing that after the fact is just Monday morning quartberbacking at this point: Keep in mind, I don't recall ANY examples of Granger showing this level of incompetence during a PDI- and I don't think there was too much risk that it would...
That's where they are wrong, though. The mistake isn't the botched PDI- that's an inevitable outcome (eventually) given their volume- no matter how unfortunate. The mistake is in not making it AS IF the PDI had been conducted properly.
I also disagree with the premise that "they have...
Everyone who orders a Big Mac wants the one on the right. Get the one on the left often enough, and you will either stop going to McDonalds- or stop buying Big Macs. Additionally, NOBODY will argue that the Big Mac on the left is acceptable. You might be able to get Manager Margaret to give...
Agreed. I didn't really have any doubts about a long distance purchase from Granger given all the positive feedback- and that's really a credit to their fantastic business model and treatment of the customer- almost without exception. This incident actually reinforces to me just how many things...
In all fairness to the OP, most of this thread has been the rest of us trying to come to his defense. Are you really saying that given the EXACT circumstances (and not some buyer beware scenario that you created) you wouldn’t feel the same way? Surely you would?
Your argument Is ridiculous, and you’ve already shown you know nothing about the process Granger advertises on purchase.
Granger allows themselves 7-10 days upon receipt of your truck from Ford to perform their pre delivery inspection, after which they work with customers to correct any...
You’re misunderstanding: 4% below invoice isn’t 4% below MSRP. I saved over $7,500 on my truck when it was 3% below invoice. 4% below invoice on an $80k truck is going to be closer to $9,000 in savings. There’s a reason so many folks have gone this route.
When you do the math, it’s closer to...
Are there other examples of customers taking delivery of a truck from Granger with a poorly executed PDI? Not on this forum I don’t believe, but I’m open to being corrected.
Well, I guess the OP has that option then if he so chooses. I can understand him not wanting to alienate Granger if their intent is ultimately to help him- but perhaps that's unlikely 2.5 weeks from delivery.
With so few complaints about Granger, I happen to think they can still make a good...
