Did any warning flash on the dash when it happened? I had an STX service loaner that did that several times under the same conditions. The dash would quickly flash something in orange each time but it disappeared so fast I couldn't read it when the pedal went dead.
You need to be in a strong cellular area covered by AT&T I believe. Nothing ever appears to be downloaded to the trucks using the built in wifi connection. My home location has pretty much zero coverage from AT&T so I seldom got updates.
Doesn't surprise me the slightest. My truck has always had electrical gremlins that can't be fixed and I'm sure every harness in the truck looks like this. Ford found multiple bad wires in the harness for my headlights and eventually just replaced the whole thing with no resolution. Your picture...
I couldn't find a way to do it. It is a strange very limited account that only allows you to make purchases toward the card that I was sent for rental reimbursement.
Fords prepaid debit cards suck because there is no way to deposit the money into your bank account and then pay off the credit card debt you have been racking up on their behalf!
My dealership updated my GWM, APIM and IPC under the Bluecruise recall when I complained that the OTA updates kept failing and charged Ford $1,280 for that and $80 to test drive afterwards.
At the least, I would expect my payments and insurance paid back that I have been required to pay for the now 286 days that my truck has been sitting at the dealership. Ideally, Ford has to buy it back because their engineering team can't figure out what is wrong with it and it has been back for...
Because the truck is still broken and sitting at a dealership along with the fact that I have been paying on a premium truck that I never have and driving low grade service loaners instead. Trade in value on this truck is going to take a severe hit also due to the very lengthy carfax report...
Got the dealership to send me a vehicle history report that shows the totals of all the parts and endless labor that has been thrown at my POS F-150 and it is just shy of $28,000! This doesn't include the 250+ days that Ford has been paying for service loaners and a rental in the beginning. I am...
My mom has those run flats on her car and each time she gets a nail in one, the dealership makes her replace it in a set of two. They claim the run flats can not be repaired because the sidewall only has limited miles it can run without pressure before failing. It costs her a small fortune...
I asked if they could at least give me a medium size Bronco and was quickly told no. I was looking at them in the showroom while waiting and was surprised how small they were inside also compared to an F-150.
Mine must be set on "Smash your head on the windshield as the seatbelt strangles you and then apologize to the guy that damn near drove his SUV up an over my POS mini Bronco." These things are dangerous!
Thank you for contacting AAA regarding your flat tire in Manitoba. You can expect one of our expert mobile service consultants to remedy your situation in 6 to 36 hours depending on road and weather conditions. You should have brought a spare!
My rolling turd the dealership gave me is a Badlands and I disagree with everything you said other than it has a heated steering wheel.
I told the dealership I wanted something else to drive and they said this is what they use for loaners. It is a death trap and will likely kill me if it...
That trash mini Bronco is what I am being forced to drive as a service loaner now and I have to convince myself daily to no roll it into a ditch to get a replacement loaner. I start my day angry when I see that POS sitting in the driveway!
