  1. Granger Ford - How to buy that new F-150

I qualified for X-Plan, so I could have gotten that locally, but not sure I would have done any better than that in DFW. My whole decision was based on finding those fairly useless and toothless lifetime powertrain warranties, and making sure it was one that didn't require service at the...
  2. 2021+ F-150 Orders Tracking List & Stats [Enter Yours!]

Interesting currybob, the scheduling notes list "expected 11/30" for the Max Recline Seats. Since there is no way that my order will be built before 11/30, I might be safe to add those without delaying things worse than I already am... I'm going to have to think long and hard about adding them...
  3. Powerboost HP / Torque Predictions? Timing?

Norheat thanks for coming back and giving us the details. This wait is killing us. I'm really hoping the 23 mpg number that came from the 700 mile range quote at the reveal is the city/combined number, where hybrids typically do best. Highway mileage is going to be what it's going to be based...

Bummer, but as always, thanks for sharing the information.
  5. Powerboost HP / Torque Predictions? Timing?

You can't come in here and say that and drop the mic and leave, you have to tell us what he said!
  6. 2021+ F-150 Orders Tracking List & Stats [Enter Yours!]

Did your dealer say someone at Ford told him that, or was it just his opinion as to why your build date slipped right a month?
  7. Nice video of King Ranch interior

These are the Max Recline Seats. No one knows if that upper back/shoulder cushion is adjustable when the seats are upright, but when you recline them that section lifts up a little bit I think. The movement of that cushion is shown in the videos detailing the Max Recline feature.
  8. A look at the many 2021 F-150 interior colors

Thanks for posting this currybob! Yeah, not doing anything for my impatience either. They definitely toned down the orange die in the leather, which I am so happy to see. I wish the wood accents had a little more pronounced and fancy grain, but really hard to tell from the video as the...
  9. Granger Ford - How to buy that new F-150

I agree, Albert from Granger has been awesome to all of us on the forum. Anyone that can swing it should buy from him for sure.
  10. 2021+ F-150 Orders Tracking List & Stats [Enter Yours!]

I learned at lunch today that the representatives that staff the Chat Window available in the "Early Build & Price Tool" can actually look up some information for us if you have your Order Code and Sales Code, even if you do not have a VIN yet. Granted the information wasn't super helpful, as...
  11. Granger Ford – Trade in Guide

Thank you for the info! That saves me some time and money.
  12. Granger Ford - How to buy that new F-150

They're not gambling anything on ordering a new 2021 to sell you at MSRP. If you back out they'll sell it to someone else easily. The 2021's will be a hot commodity for a while. But giving you a fixed number on a trade-in they might not take possession of for 4-5 months is a gamble because of...
  13. Granger Ford - How to buy that new F-150

Granger Ford listed a dealer contact in West Virginia that was also on the Bronco forums that was doing $1000 under invoice I believe? I can't remember which thread it was on, but you should be able to search and find it pretty easily. You have to be willing to search a pretty good radius to...
  14. Report: 2022 F-150 Raptor Will Have Two Engine Options Including Limited Edition Supercharged 5.2L V8 Predator Engine

The Voodoo engine out of the GT350 is not well matched to truck applications. Being a Flat Plane Crank engine it has a very high rev limit, and you have to wind it up to get that max 527 HP, and the torque curve does not match what truck engines do well, and what truck buyers are looking for.
  15. Granger Ford – Trade in Guide

Albert, I have a question about trade-in value for vehicles that are obviously auction bound, and no dealer would likely recondition and sell on their used car lot. How much effort, and more importantly money should one put into reconditioning the vehicle before taking it to be appraised? I...
  16. 2021 F-150 Real Life Sightings

For some reason I didn't see both pictures when I replied, but I think the top picture shows the multi-contour seats with active motion that are standard in the KR 601A, Platnium, and Limited. The second picture shows the optional max recline seats.
  17. Submitted my order..

Agree, from that photo it looks like the truck is very high in the back, almost like they are hard on the brakes, but nothing else in the photo points to that being the case. But that wheel well gap does look huge.
  18. F150 Hybrid Towing Range?

Fuel mileage and range are very driver dependent, and no engine has been a better example of this than the 3.5L EcoBoost. It is capable of returning very respectable fuel mileage numbers, but most people complain they don't get any better mileage than the V-8's they gave up because the engine...
  19. 2021 F-150 Real Life Sightings

A.) They break like all electronic actuated systems, and when they do they are expensive to fix/replace. This will be my wife's daily driver, and she is 5'4", and will not be able to climb in without running boards, so I will hear big complaints and will have to fix them as soon as they break...
  20. 2021 F-150 Real Life Sightings

I am 99.9% sure those seats are the 601A Package Multi-Contour seats with motion/massage, because the cushions look identical to the pictures of the Platnium and Limited seats, and the multi-contour motion seats are standard on Platnium and Limited. There is a chance that the standard 600A KR...
