I'm happy to report that I finally got BC 1.4 working. Thanks to everyone in the ECU and BlueCruise threads, for all the information that I needed, to update everything with FDRS and to @rugedraw who got me over the last hurdle with FORScan changes that I needed to make. Can't thank everyone on...
Makes sense to me if you had worn out your previous tires, which would make them smaller in size and you'd be traveling a slightly lesser distance with each rotation, compared to new. Then switching up to a larger tire (and it's new) you'd see a slightly higher speed. My GPS tends to show about...
So you went slightly larger than stock, yes? Did you adjust the tire size in FORScan so it knows you're traveling faster now? That will affect your MPG calculations. I went with 275/65 and when I'm on the highway, it's a 2mph difference. Truck thinks I'm going slower.
Same. I even left it connected to the charger and it still wouldn't update. If there diagnostics fail, then that's a warranty claim, as far as I concerned and the dealer should be reimbursed. I've also got like 2 other small items they can address while it's with them.
I just got off the phone with them and she told me the same thing. Told me to take it to the dealer and let them do a batt diag and perform updates, since she sees that it has been trying for like 2 weeks straight.
Mine is on a 3yr trial and I'm getting the notification that BC1.4 is ready to install, for the past week. I think my crappy battery is why it's failing. I'm swapping it out for the larger H8, like others have done.
Those 3 above don't go away. Got tired of running them.
THe message was in FDRS, for one of the BlueCruise options. It was probably not necessary but I tried it anyway. I didn't get a pic of it but I can this evening.
With @rugedraw away, can someone else run my VIN today and let me know what I'm missing. I did a few updates and I have today left on my FDRS license. BlueCruise has been trying to update via OTA and failing, even with the battery hooked up. I charged it up, waited until charged, then switches...
I tried all of that and it still failed repeatedly. I was already logged in.
It finally took for me to completely uninstall the stupid software, reboot then install it again. FInally let me in. Ridiculous.
Were you logged in still from yesterday or did you log in fresh today? The Network diagnostic shows the login server FAIL. Everything else has been working.
