It's not that hybrids in general are new, it's that a hybrid in a towing vehicle with this kind of weight attached is new. There aren't many (or maybe any) of those on the road at the moment, so there aren't any real-world examples for me to look at.
I've been anxiously awaiting the new F150 with the hybrid engine, but I'm wondering if it's a good idea to buy the first hybrid Ford has ever put in a truck, when I'll be towing a horse trailer. With animals in the trailer, I don't want to risk problems with a new engine.
Anyone else worried...
This next truck will be the first time I've used a truck as my daily driver, so I'm wondering about getting a tonneau cover, both to improve mpg and to provide cover for cargo when needed. What are everyone's thoughts?
Is it worth the cost/trouble?
Get it as part of the Ford build, or buy...
Are you saying that the 2021 Lariat Supercab will not have an 8' box option? It seems to be on the sheet as available.
Or are you saying that the Lariat Sport package is only available on the SuperCrew, not the SuperCab?
