Strange, but I don’t think it’s necessary for a successful installation provided the rest of the fasteners are used. Is there a hole in the fender behind the plastic? You could use that & drill through the plastic, or use the flap as a template & drill through the existing mud flap hole.
When I had those symptoms it took replacement of the HCU, hydraulic control unit which is contraption under the brake fluid reservoir. Apparently that is the “brain” where all those systems join together.
Ross, 99% sure it’s the AC. These trucks seem to leave more condensate than any other vehicle I’ve owned. It’s just marking it’s territory to keep the Chevy’s away!
There are ”punched out“ arrows on both frame rails front & rear. For a 2 post lift or a floor jack use the areas immediately below the arrows on the frame.
Got one today. In my Ford Pass home page it says “Update successful, check what’s new”. Click on that & it says “routine update to make minor changes & squash bugs”
Honestly, I’m shocked how much better this truck accelerates. The tip-in is immediate, no lag at all, and the zero to 60 seems much quicker. I think they did some different mapping on the 10 speed also. The truck just feels lighter & more nimble. This is comparing both trucks with the same...
This is what came on the back doors from Ford. I never had these on my other Lariats. there is also a rubber fill tube on the front of the back door which was never on my other trucks.
