Nah, I had the Hankooks. They hit slushy snow and just about put me in the ditch. Not sure I've ever have tires perform that bad in winter. I ended up with Firestone Destination A/T2. They are snow rated, more agressive looking and do awesome in snow. Unfortunately, they are heavier and my...
I have the 21 Lariat as well and never a problem. Changed the junk tires it came with and still on the original battery that just threw up it's first warning during the last cold spell. I use the hell out of the generator. Not sure how others get along without it.
I think a lot of the...
I use:
adaptive cruise
the 360 cameras
BLIS
evasive steering assist
rear automatic braking
cross traffic alert
pre collision assist with automatic braking
automatic high beams
traffic sign recognition although it doesn't control my speed
I don't use:
lane keep assist
auto hold (never tried...
I ended up getting the Firestone AT/3 for the snow rating. I had a hard time on snow with the Hankooks. They were the worst for snow that I ever experienced.
Looking good on your truck!
Yes! My wife has cancer and her ability to breath is compromised to the point that outside irritants(dust, pollen, strong smells, etc.) will mess with her sinuses and trigger attacks. She can't use an oil filter to stop that stuff.
I found the filter they are sending me on the Ford Parts Store for about half of what I paid for the one in the link. I called then on it and I'll see if I can get the one I paid for. If not, I'm going off on them.
I went with the Red Rock grille. I found out the hard way that the lights aren't compatible with the Lariat led headlights. Hooking them up to the supplied harness threw a headlight code on the dash. I still like the look a ton better than the ugly Lariat grille.
Before and after.
Mine broke earlier this year. I just left a highway 4 way stop. A semi tractor was parked on the gravel shoulder ahead and pulled out in front of me. I was behind him about a quarter mile and heard the shotgun blast of the glass breaking. It took a second to realize it was the sunroof but the...
Don't need 'em. I sprung for the 360 cameras. I'd delete all my mirrors if it wasn't a law. I just don't need them and only use them by habit.
Question: Do the bams fold in flat when locking the truck? I've always wondered.
