My OCD says do not mix and match. My Bilstein 6112s were backordered (they're on now) but was able to put the 5100s in the rear while waiting. Just having the rears in is a major ride improvement over stock. I'd just settle in and wait.
Woah! I feel even better about “experimenting” with these tires now! And yes, I’d agree with everything they’ve said about it. It isn’t a loud tire, but it makes…tones sometimes. Can’t hear it over wind noise or music though. Also I mentioned earlier it kinda rides stiff. And I just drove thru...
No discernible noise. I’ve been a Falken Wildpeak fanboy for a while, but my last three sets were duds. With that said, a fresh set of Wildpeaks compared to a fresh set of G3s are indistinguishable thus far.
No pictures yet (truck is filthy with salt, dirt, snow, etc.) but I got a set of 275/65/20 SLs and they've done great in mixed snow conditions (light fresh snow, icy and compact snow, etc.) and I will say they do ride a bit firm, but I am still finding the sweet spot for air pressure. They're at...
I bought mine used, but if I were taking it off the lot, my first stop would be to get windows tinted, ceramic coated, undercoated, or the bed lined (can you still install a Decked system in a lined bed?). My truck's previous (Canadian) owner had the wherewithal to put on PPF on some key...
I am unaware of any good seat-extender-type covers you're looking for, but you can get those door-protecting thingies separately (i.e. these 4Knines covers).
This is straight from parts.ford.com (this piece of crap is incredibly overpriced, by the way, so look elsewhere for a better deal). The c-shaped metal arms on the sides are in the track itself. They're "springy" and compliant so that they get easily lowered by the closing sunroof panel and...
I scoured the internet for any sort of "how-to" and came up with nothing. But when ordering the part itself (the deflector is one piece) and studying the diagram of related parts, etc. I just went for it. The bottom portion of the fabric screen is held in place by several plastic retention...
I have a Maxxis Bravo A/T 265/70/R18...which I hope to replace once I change my current set of tires from 275/60s to 275/65s. Planning on mounting it to an OEM wheel too.
My truck is approaching its "final form" (I've done all the modifications I wanted to do to it) and wanted to check my status on OTAs, etc. Changing the battery from H6 to H8 was a gamechanger, by the way.
Would you mind giving 1FTEW1EP0MKD63604 a look?
I've got a topper on my truck and most of the dust comes from underneath like someone else had mentioned. If you seal the seams in the truck's bed, tailgate, and any from the topper, you will probably cut the dust down significantly. Another fix is to open the windows of your topper slightly (if...
Yes. However, I have not had these tires for their full lifespan. When I drove with these on a work truck, they were quiet. The Wildpeaks have been my go-to since...forever, and they start to get very loud as they wear. Dunno if that is addressed with the AT4s. But I am confident the Rubitreks...
