OP, when this happens, have you confirmed using the eco coach that you are within the Regen braking zone? I would think the ABS/TC system would mitigate this.
I did not make the connection of the G meaning ground. Now I do. There is no DSP harness in the back rear of the cab as you state. I opened up the loom in the rear door sill and did not find the gr-rd wire. I will check the loom on the right side as well
My logic is that since Ford supplies a...
Looks like the connector I was hoping was amp power turns out to be a ground. I opened the harness running along the left side below the door sills and did not find the gn-rd wire shown in wiring diagrams as the amp circuit.
So I am back to square one looking for this wire. If anyone can help...
I think Ford discovered that they lost this forum in the war of public opinion. The lack of feedback when they did offer assistance did not help either. Perhaps when the Gen15 forum opens they will come back.
I have said this before and I’ll say it again - Ford shot themselves in the foot with the heat exchanger issue. Not having spare parts kept many trucks at the dealership waiting, and only to have it fail again.
I noted this same behavior, staying in 4H after a restart without saying yes to keep slippery mode. From the responses I received, it is normal. Do I agree with this - no.
Hey, I am trying to find the location of connector G302. I believe it is behind the left rear seat but I have not been able to find it. Anyone come across this or have a diagram showing its location?
Thanks.
I am going to be installing an amp behind the rear seat of my 2021 XLT. My plan was to tap off of fuse 28 since I have an XLT and there is no factory amp. Imagine my surprise went I went to test if fuse location 28 was wired (unused fuse plugs often are not) and finding a 30 amp fuse...
I can confirm from personal experience this will not happen. Loosening the plug is a bitch the first time, no doubt about that. I had to replace mine as I rounded off the plug a bit.
Wait until 30K then pay to have the pan dropped and filter replaced. The original filter has probably caught most of the big stuff already. After that just extract what you can from the pan and replace with new every two years or 30k. That will replace about 1/2 of the fluid each time which is...
