  1. Headliner rattle above the driver in the cold

This is one of the rattles I have. Thinking when the weather gets warmer of putting a piece of rubber or similar between the head liner and the body to prevent the pieces from rubbing against each other.
  2. UP-Charging Bluecruise Subscription

Ram is charging $300 a year. But if you don't cough up, you have no CC at all. None. I don't like the way this is going.
  3. Bluecruise 1.4 upgrade with FDRS !!! Please join me in Congratulating Ford on a job well done !!!

Ram is charging $285 a year for their hands free. But with a twist, on hands free equipped trucks, they have deleted the non adaptive not handsfree "plain jane" cruise control. So you are SOL with those trucks....
  4. 10r80 failure

If I had to have a STX, those wheels would be replaced almost before I leave the dealership. I just can't stand that design.
  5. 10r80 failure

What is interesting is if you look outside the Ford ecosystem, you will discover that cam phasers, tensioners, guides all suffer from wear and tear and it isn't just a Ford thing. Its common to many brands. Phasers wear, chains stretch, and tensioners run out of the ability to take up the wear...
  6. Installed H8 AGM battery; my truck is transformed

Oddly enough I discovered that my wife's ten year old Volvo has an H6 battery. We bought the car used at three years old. It has the same battery as the day we bought it. Probably made by Varta.
  7. Installed H8 AGM battery; my truck is transformed

Interesting comments. I'm one of the lucky ones whose factory stop start was factory deleted. I'm still doing ok (famous last words) with my Factory H6. Wonder if there is a connection. That said, my typical driving distance per usage has dropped in the last year. That alone might jump up and...
  8. 10r80 failure

Uses Ford warranty, pays nothing and is pissed. Imagine what he's like if he had a Chevy or Ram..... Even Toyotas and their new engine,
  9. First 2025 F-150 Platinum delivered!

So there is a whole new wiring harness moving switches from above the head unit to where 21s had head unit controls. They messed up. The hazard switch should be on top of the steering wheel or similar, more prominent and easy to reach. Then the lone surviving switch above the HU can move down...
  10. Two year trip around the USA in an F-150

I've used a buddies starlink and its very good in areas of VA and NC without cell coverage.
  11. 10-Speed Trans Break-in Period?

It took many thousands of miles before mine settled in. I think it became far better after I did a towing trip.
  12. Two tone color swap. Stone grey had to go.

I'd start by replacing the headlights with the Smoked out LEDs that some 2025s get, then seeing how the grill looks with those installed.
  13. 2024 LARIAT rubbing/grinding sound/feel when pulling out

I bet its the patina of rust that can often appear on brake equipment. I had several Hondas and they are notorious for having that noise first thing in the morning, worse with high humidity.
  14. Behind the grille LED pod mounts: DIY install

Sick looking. The 2025 with black appearance and smoked Headlights cry out for blacked out LED lights like yours
  15. Vehicle Software Update History Now Available in Your Ford Account

I used to get updates. My current version is SYNC Version 4.0.23159 I do have a PCM pending but that doesn't want to download. With so many stuck on the same sync version, perhaps we're all stuck in the same swamp....
  16. OTA updates not happening?

My dealer wont touch it without taking money. This to me is a Ford issue. Dealer can't guarantee they can fix it. That said, it works just fine. So I'm going to sit on the sidelines and watch.
  17. New tires: Falken Wildpeak AT4W tires (LT305/55/20) on unmodified F-150

Higher weight (68lbsv41lbs)= slower acceleration, heavier braking needed, worse MPG. Wider tire, = better dry cornering, poorer wet grip (ok so the stock tires don't offer much anyway). There are definitely other good tires out there that maintain that size but are lighter. I just hope you...
  18. ReadyAir helper spring airbag install, impressions

I haven't had to explore the ends of the threads of that bolt. So I don't know. But I would assumed that it has a max movement in both directions.
  19. HELP! Would you buy this truck?

That looks like hail damage. Forget about it. Wait for your truck.
