This is one of the rattles I have. Thinking when the weather gets warmer of putting a piece of rubber or similar between the head liner and the body to prevent the pieces from rubbing against each other.
Ram is charging $285 a year for their hands free. But with a twist, on hands free equipped trucks, they have deleted the non adaptive not handsfree "plain jane" cruise control.
So you are SOL with those trucks....
What is interesting is if you look outside the Ford ecosystem, you will discover that cam phasers, tensioners, guides all suffer from wear and tear and it isn't just a Ford thing. Its common to many brands. Phasers wear, chains stretch, and tensioners run out of the ability to take up the wear...
Oddly enough I discovered that my wife's ten year old Volvo has an H6 battery. We bought the car used at three years old. It has the same battery as the day we bought it. Probably made by Varta.
Interesting comments. I'm one of the lucky ones whose factory stop start was factory deleted. I'm still doing ok (famous last words) with my Factory H6. Wonder if there is a connection. That said, my typical driving distance per usage has dropped in the last year. That alone might jump up and...
So there is a whole new wiring harness moving switches from above the head unit to where 21s had head unit controls. They messed up. The hazard switch should be on top of the steering wheel or similar, more prominent and easy to reach. Then the lone surviving switch above the HU can move down...
I bet its the patina of rust that can often appear on brake equipment. I had several Hondas and they are notorious for having that noise first thing in the morning, worse with high humidity.
I used to get updates. My current version is SYNC Version 4.0.23159
I do have a PCM pending but that doesn't want to download. With so many stuck on the same sync version, perhaps we're all stuck in the same swamp....
My dealer wont touch it without taking money. This to me is a Ford issue. Dealer can't guarantee they can fix it.
That said, it works just fine. So I'm going to sit on the sidelines and watch.
Higher weight (68lbsv41lbs)= slower acceleration, heavier braking needed, worse MPG.
Wider tire, = better dry cornering, poorer wet grip (ok so the stock tires don't offer much anyway).
There are definitely other good tires out there that maintain that size but are lighter. I just hope you...
