I recently added air suspension from ReadyLift (documented here) and I do have that sensor. I do not have CCD (ReadyLift says its for CCD but it's also for non-CCD; in that case it's for headlight leveling.)
ReadyLift sold me a bracket that relocated this sensor but their bracket isn't...
Does it keep pulling after 120MPH and the speedo pegs or does she stop making steam at 120? I'm beginning to think the limiter is at 120 now, instead of the 100 before.
HA and I was actually "stuck" in this photo; I believe if I had gone to spinning them I could have gotten on up the hill but didn't want to trash the yard so we pulled it the rest of the way. With the 2 inches of wheel poke it covered the truck once I hit pavement.
I've had now 4 people...
I've got one of those $200 magic boxes that I leave connected in the sliding door below the HVAC; it's connected via USB and at times is a bit slow to acknowledge internet after a reboot but is otherwise flawless, leaves my phone unrelated to the truck and allows for YouTube etc. while driving...
I did not know this existed. Looks like a nice setup, very clean.
They seem geared towards sport bikes as they only make their system for the Indian FTR1200, and not the litany of baggers that Indian makes. I hope to trade my Chief for a Challenger at some point on this trip and like the...
This coming weekend I shall begin a two year trip around America in my 2021 KR 3.5EB, and I intend to document that here. As a remote worker I am not bound to any one location, so I am going to use that flexibility to visit a variety of points of interest. First though, I'm headed to Florida...
Easiest way to find out is to stick your head in the wheelwell and check for aftermarket suspension or a spacer sitting on top of the original strut.
Or post a photo of that area to this thread.
I agree with this assertion, however..
Yes I absolutely would, and I'm elated to see when Ford does it too! Its even a mild game for me to see how low I can convince the truck to hold 10th.. 47-48mph is certainly achievable. Fuel mileage is through the roof at that moment if you can just...
Yeah I think I will actually have to adjust; almost like the air springs have "settled", as I'm already riding lower in the rear and I haven't even fully loaded yet.
I am hopeful that I can use the airbags for that adjustment but I did buy 6" worth of drop hitch from Weigh Safe so I could redo it all at a lower adjustment.
Recently I installed the ReadyAir airbag helper springs by ReadyLift. I also needed the height sensor relocation kit that they mention is needed for CCD but is actually needed for headlights as well.
Install was great, overall. With a 6" lift there was no need to lift the truck or take the...
mine is this way and i failed to fix it when i had it apart installing a lift.. i thought i induced this.
my alignment is off a third of a degree in the rear due to it.
I called to inquire about specifically an e85 tow tune. The guy I spoke with said he'd check and call me back but I haven't heard from him yet.
I wonder if the fuel pump can keep up with 4mpg
I am gearing up to go digital nomad - full time in the camper, and the ability to switch to a tow tune on move day without disconnecting the PCM is a no-brainer. Further, the ability to switch to e85 once I get there and drop the trailer is cake icing.
Add in this thing and my fuel ups will...
