Newest Ford Pass I installed yesterday (Android 5.9.0) has service records.
Bought smart watch on Black Friday and it is pretty sweet starting truck from my wrist. App is buggy and doesn't update status but as long as no error then truck started.
That resolves a surprising number of issues. Phantom updates are supposed to be fixed in one of the updates going OTA that isn't released for everyone yet. Hurry up and wait as usual. It isn't unlocked for my VIN yet in FDRS.
Door modules that control windows and mirrors have been updated about half dozen times since 2021 models launched. They keep tweaking settings for some reason. 🤷♂️
Funny I was coming here to post about it.
It is limited to fit the requirements of Android Auto with limited interaction. I can't say I would use it but you get option for multiple screens of text PID. Maybe they will improve it in future showing us to setup dashboard on phone that will...
I fully expected this to trickle down to the F-150 by now. They must make a lot of sales off the tailgate step option.
I'll add non-GM feature. I have always thought the RAM outside bed storage is a neat idea for normally wasted space.
Sorry to read issues with the adapter. Older elm devices could not access all networks on other OBD pins. Back in 2003 I was using elm with a big PCB board and serial cable to laptop. Things have come a long way since then.
OBDLink MX+ is supposed to include enhanced PID with purchase price...
They appear to have reached the point they finally consider the app "stable" so they are quickly adding back deleted features.
We might see zone lighting before end of year?
Hurry up Ford, it is dark at 5pm now. 🤣
The security subscription, if allowed on older models, could add back the old...
Anyone else getting junk emails from Granger?
All I did was use them for extended warranty last year on my F-150.
Now I keep getting spammed with emails from Granger Motors Dodge in Iowa. I keep trying to unsubscribe but they keep coming. I'm going to have to block the name Granger on my...
Make me feel special or something. 🤣
Also posted in that thread how to use the built in SAE function to pull barometric pressure if you want a reading to not include that.
I've had random headlight codes since I bought the truck. Changed headlights and still have random codes. Headlights work perfectly with glare free and all.
I've learned to ignore codes that don't light up on dash.
If you can open it in Forscan you might be able to use them if you write the VIN number. I'm not sure if that would work if firmware is different though. 🤷♂️
Congrats on the success!
Small chance you will run into issues as I did with other USB updates. Everything except APIM can be done over CAN. My notes say I did one of the GWM updates over CAN because USB kept failing. I have 3 hours for the time spent on that.
You are in good shape then.
The update for Bluecruise will someday get out OTA we hope. If you are impatient head into the Mongoose borrowing thread and sign up. Cheaper than $600 on a cable for a low priority update. I will say it really improves adaptive cruise so worth my $50 to install it...
Nice truck.
You can get the newest IPMA software for improved Bluecruise only by using FDRS which needs the required expensive Mongoose cable.
What software version does it show on dash when you go to settings and about sync?
If it is 23xxxx then you should probably be fine on all the...
