~1" of rake is the magic number for my eyes. It's been a while since I installed the Ford Performance suspension (made by Bilstein), but after settling I think mine ended up being ~1.25".
Apologies @Snakebitten as I only use the auto climate control set to the max (3 bars) and adjust the interior temp setting depending upon the season. I belive that this setting allows for max fan speed (especially when its either 10 degrees or 90 degrees outside), but I am more than happy to...
I am only one data point, so take that for what it is worth. However, since installing an aftermarket H7 AGM battery (to replace the problematic OE AGM H6) and keeping my auto fan speed set to 3-bars (courtesy of @HammaMan) while in the vehicle, I have not had a single issue. No FordPass...
@Karimitsuu I currently have the ACC switch on my steering wheel though I don't currently have that feature (have the parts, waiting on warmer weather also). The forscan change to the ACC switch is simple and you won't freeze your ass off or possibly break things trying to replace the switch in...
If you haven’t already, I would just confirm with someone who has that size tire (and the wheel offset you are looking) at to confirm that it won't rub without a leveling kit.
Agreed that this should not happen with a stock configuration. After adding a 2" level and 34" tires, I needed to add some zip ties to the front fender liners and adjust the crash bars to prevent rubbing, but when making modifications, creative engineering is to be expected.
I'm guessing that you know this already, but you will also need the appropriate gauge wiring kit for your amp and a set of the correct length RCA cables to go from the LC2i to the amp (if not included in the wiring kit). Also, where do you plan on mounting the LC2i and the amp?
Yes that is the correct t-harness for your truck. If your amp doesn't accept high level inputs, you will need the LC2i to convert the high level front channel inputs into low level inputs for your subwoofer(s).
That was the one forced removal on my '23 that I was more than happy to accept. I was lucky enough to get both the heated mirrors and bed camera from the factory which I am extremely grateful for.
I'm a bit concerned that your sound may be too bright with both the 3-way coaxial speakers in the front and the 4 ohm tweeters, but I defer to those more knowledgeable. How does it sound with the factory tweeters and the coaxials in the doors?
