I also ordered sight unseen. The color looks better than the meh Ford photos. I am very happy. So is my wife.

Took delivery of my KR today. Awesome vehicle. Chip and Shelby were great. Ford doesn’t make it easy, but props to Granger for all they did.

Good luck. I believe Granger will be able to get it ready for you if there’s no delivery damage or recalls. Are you going to try to trade in your old vehicle or how do you plan on dealing with that? would like to trade mine in but I am not sure what they will offer, if they even want it.

I was surprised too. The Ford rep said they couldn’t give out carrier info like car number because the train people were getting deluged with calls. I called NS on a lark and the dude was super helpful. I think I just got lucky.

I have a similar issue, trying to tie the truck delivery with a pre planned trip. Fingers crossed that they have enough headed to Granger and their are enough transporters available that they clear the lot early.

In looking at my order, I can’t tell if the scales/smart hitch came as standard, and in looking at the Ford website, there doesn’t seem to be an option for it on the build currently (maybe it’s embedded in another option?). And in looking at some current KR window stickers, some are showing it...

Were the onboard scales and smart hitch standard on the king ranch - I have seen several KR window stickers say “less onboard scales and smart hitch” as well

FYI - I just spoke to Chip from granger and was pleasantly surprised to hear that I got the King Ranch I ordered in February scheduled for production for week of 9/9. I never received an email from Ford. Check with their marketing or your sales rep if you have been waiting a long time.

Ford is so messed up.
