If you can figure out someone’s name and address from a plate, you have access to CLETS/NCIC or similar, and you’ve also committed a criminal violation of such. I don’t hide mine. Enjoy reading my name and current registration status lol
I have a 3.5 PB, when I took off the "diaper" and replaced with a steel RCI skid plate, there was a noticeable change in engine noise for sure. Not unpleasant, but obvious to my ears.
I probably could have found a way to enable hill decent after the fact, but that was a must for me and I use it on every trip, locking my speed at 2-3mph going down a rocky technical trail. But yeah for most probably not worth it
I optioned my truck with Fx4 knowing I was changing the shocks right away. No factory suspension is going to be any good off road (besides raptor). I got FX4 for the hill decent, locking rear differential, and drive modes.
Id be drilling and adding new hardware. Need to do more research but would most likely want a bolt every 6-8” or so running the length. Kind of a big job but would be worth it for my camping load out. It would be nice to run off-road at speed and know each container in the back (including co2...
It's on my to-do list, but I have yet to tackle it. I plan on running 3 lengths of L track the length of the bed (bolted to the actual base of the bed left, center, and right) L track fits nicely in between the factory grooves.
If you are just changing the coil-overs you won't have any issues. If you change the upper control arms, look at the specs or call the company that makes them to ask what wheel offset/backspacing is required. My Camburg UCA's require a maximum backspacing of 5.75".
Those metal keys kept falling out after I bought my truck...took me forever (plus this forum) to figure out where they were coming from and why. Wipers functioned normally though
Super cab raptor with an engine as reliable as the 6.2, with some sorta pro power onboard feature, and less sensors/electronics to keep off-roading pure without crash notifications as I approach every bush and rock. A truck you can hammer on off-road and highway for 300k miles reliably. Even...
Please follow up with a review of these....I'm looking at getting them in a 285 70 17...They look like the perfect balance between highway manners and off-road capability (although less so than my current KO2's). Also, they make the best snow tire I've ever driven on
The following suspension parts are for sale in Orange County, Southern California. All parts were taken off my 2022 Lariat PB FX4 4wd at around 8000 miles...practically new. No off-road miles on these at all.
-Front Coil-overs
-Upper Control Arms
-Rear Shocks
$400 OBO for everything.
The only reason I'm wary of Icon is numerous complaints about their customer service...but when the time comes I may change my mind. Being able to adjust electronically sounds super nice, but realistically I'd probably find my preferred street adjustment and just leave it there until I hit the...
Curious why so many people love or want 4A? I have it, and I've literally never used it. My truck stays in 2H until I need 4x4 off-road. Most times on the trail I can even get by with 2H or throw on the rear diff lock. Maybe people that drive in snow a lot want it? Why not just hit the 4H when...
Just my feelings on it and to each their own. I drove a rental ford escape with one and it felt….delicate. Like turning on an easy bake oven, not engaging the transmission of a truck. Not my jam
If my truck had a little twisty dial to put it in gear, I guess I’d have to hang my purse on it and walk away….just my .02
I do like the functionality of a corner bumper step for sure. Any factory or aftermarket drop down corner step is just another piece that can snag and rip off on the trail...
