booyah! exact same color combo/trim as my ’23.
gotta ask about tires. looks like you went with Michelin Defenders. do you like them? are they same size as original Pirelli and do they ride as smooth as the Pirellis?
more CA bafoonery. the people buying a Provost or similar multi million dollar motorhome already go out of state to avoid sales tax, then they license it in Montana to avoid the stupid DMV costs.
now they are going after the poor schmuck that buys a simple class B unit. So they will just drive...
finding a good used older truck that hasnt been worked hard, or had a lot of hard working men in it is a challenge. either its old enuf to be a “classic” or its newer and then its still the cost of an XL or XLT. and the new truck smells like a new truck.. not like a locker room. just saying.
well, only time will tell, but if it looks like this Ford unit its got a battery and its just stuck on with tape. and I think in 2021 it was only a $100 for this. so maybe its new and improved.
the dealer installed keypad is a POS. its a battery operated remote unit that will frustrate and piss you off. That is IF the battery lasts more than a month. dealer installed means they program it to the truck and stick it on with double sided tape. for the low low cost of $455.
several things I have noticed with my power tailgate. for starters I find that if the gate has been down for a long time. not sure exact times, but over half an hour. and the truck hasnt been started or “woken up”, if I push the tailgate button to go it sometimes its a no response. seems like...
kudos on the Adventure Medical kit! I carry the same brand stuff in all my vehicles, does double duty on hikes. love those lightweight kits. I usually stuff a bunch of extra band aids in mine.
and true, my 23 did not have the little strap attached, hence the built right solution for me
when I was a kid in the early 70’s we would find these empty applicators on the shore of Lake Erie, my friends dad called them Beach Whistles. And then laugh his ass off when we tried blowing thru them….
this has nothing to do with Turbo Whistle, but that made me think of this story
the more I see about Granger the more I wish I bought from them!!
When I order another truck it's going to be from Granger.
They pick you up at the airport?? most dealers wont pick you up at the curb out front
I have to try this, ‘cuz in the auto mode mine is lame on remote start. and then my wife beats me into the truck and she is already hot and now she is punching buttons like its a whack a mole game but of course nothing happens until I get in and push start,. meanwhile she makes Chernobyl look...
seems Ford is making the choice for most buyers now anyway.
you cant get a V8 in much above an XL. maybe the XLT? but certainly not in a KR or Plat anymore.
and ever since they stopped grifting you PB guys for an additional $10K and now make it the same price as the Ecoboost its pretty clear...
nothing in the facelift/refresh to make it worthwhile for me. I will wait for another major before I look.
and then if they havent wised up and re-planted the simple air breathing V8 motor in the King Ranch then I wont even look.
sorry, not interested in the V6 eco booze, or the plowerboost...
thats not a bad price for a “kit”. when you consider shipping from mcmaster carr etc.
however, that same bit came in a combo “tamper proof" bit set I bought a while ago. and most of our more ingenious thieves are just going to F things up with a pair of channel locks anyway.
my hope is the run...
