booyah! exact same color combo/trim as my ’23.
gotta ask about tires. looks like you went with Michelin Defenders. do you like them? are they same size as original Pirelli and do they ride as smooth as the Pirellis?
even if they rebuilt every shuttered manufacturing plant in America tomorrow they couldnt find anyone willing to work in them. that ship sailed with a Venti Chai Latte in hand
well this is why I leave mine off. not saying I have had bad experiences from updates. but there have been “resets” of minor preferences in settings that would occur. like turning the rear seatbelt warnings back on. ( sooner than the built in reset ) just things that always made go WTF. now...
OK, I will chime in, I have it turned off. However. when you do that it will annoy the crap out of you every time you start the truck asking for permission to update.
they will beat you down like a rented mule until you concede. !!
more CA bafoonery. the people buying a Provost or similar multi million dollar motorhome already go out of state to avoid sales tax, then they license it in Montana to avoid the stupid DMV costs.
now they are going after the poor schmuck that buys a simple class B unit. So they will just drive...
wild ass guess here, but maybe the MAF. ( mass air flow sensor.). ??
get a can of MAF cleaner at auto parts store and try cleaning it.
funky things happen when they get old or dirty. all you are out is a can of spray to try
before I found out Ford even sold the plastic barricade, I just took a piece of walnut, rounded the edges with a router and fit it inside the seat mounts. I thought the walnut looked at home in the brown KR interior.
I took mine out of my ’23. the studs are really Torx screws , easily removed by double nutting them to loosen them up, then screw them down and they will drop out the bottom under the truck.
the driver side ones are over the fuel tank so you have to reach up in there to feel them.
its not...
why not stick with what the manufacturer recommends? like above. if its a normal duty truck why go nuts? I change mine every 5K miles. and I am not into debating oils either. just my 2 cents. plenty of internet opinions over the best oils. take your pick
man, this is exactly what I have been pondering!! I have an old Land Rover I should be going “off road” so my 150 is a pavement princess, but I sure like the look of a more aggressive tire.
but I will probably go with the Defenders. to be honest tho, I dont hate the Pirellis on my truck...
no sorry! I was just disconnecting the speaker and took the picture, I dont have access to the parts list. but was hoping that picture might give you an idea of what they look like.
good luck !!
I love those Grabbers. had them on my last truck.
would love to do this to my KR. but I honestly only use it as a highway cruiser.
but the leveled look is calling me. I really need to stop looking at this truck porn !!!
finding a good used older truck that hasnt been worked hard, or had a lot of hard working men in it is a challenge. either its old enuf to be a “classic” or its newer and then its still the cost of an XL or XLT. and the new truck smells like a new truck.. not like a locker room. just saying.
