So this is odd. I turned it off for about 5 minutes. It had just completed a charge cycle so it was at 60ish percent. When I started it back up it was 78+ percent (took me a bit to check it).
I don't know which one was correct, but now I worry about it over charging the hybrid battery (checked...
So I'm back 2 years later. Another hurricane and this time the truck is doing the problem on the first post here.
I've noticed something that I've not seen anyone else say. Sometimes If I tap the gas when it's stuck with the engine on, it then shuts the engine off.... Until the next time it...
I don't drive my truck a lot (maybe 2500 miles per year). So keeping the battery charged up is a challenge, especially since I don't normally park near power (across the street where there is zero power).
So I had the Noco 2d charger but it would take days to charge the battery to anywhere...
Yeah, I just need to install a solar panel where I park. It's not technically my property, but I'm thinking about calling the power company and asking if I can just install a solar panel on the power pole (I pretty sure they will say no, even though I don't plan on installing above 5')
Edit:Oh...
That is my plan B. I'm waiting on my dealership to get back to me, but I doubt they will have any good solutions.
Thanks! I'll check it out. Mine should be hard wired.
My '22 PB sits normally for days or week+ at a time because I work from home and sometimes it's easier to take the wife's car out for a quick trip to the store. While my battery is crap (it will drop from 80+% to 40 in a couple of days) and I lose the ability to use the handle to unlock, the...
I hate to dredge up an old post, but our cars were broken into last night (well I inadvertantly left it unlocked which is unusual for me). I can't be sure but it looks like they may have gotten the door code from the card with the manual.
Not sure I want to have the bcm replaced, so can you...
Still hoping to see if it stands the test of time. Some earlier reports of the top layer coming off has me concerned for long term durability.
Thanks for the update! I really appreciate it.
I man, it's not "ruining" the hood. it has vinyl down which you can remove later if you want. It may ruin the looks in some people's eyes, but that's subjective. I drive about 2500 miles a year and I'm looking into this because these newer trucks just have so much vampire power. Even though now...
So I had turned on glare free 2 years ago and I was just in forscan checking everything and on IPMA 706-01-01 xxxx-xxx* was set to 5 and not 9. When I changed it, it popped up "Normal Cruise Active. Adaptive Braking off" WAs this just temporary and what does changing that value do? it was the...
I see you did under the screen and along the side of the center console. Is that all the f150leds.com sets or did you do a custom job? the colors match really well to the factor blue!
That's odd. I've had 2 sets on as many trucks in FL (Where it tends to get a bit toasty) and haven't noticed any deformation like that. Husky is great about their customer service so I know they will take care of you. Hopefully it was just a one off issue.
I love the BAP fender badges but just can't bring myself to pay hundreds of dollars for 2 pieces of plastic. They do look great though (just saying I'm a cheap bastard...lol)
I guess because I don't drive often and only go up there about once a year for my car, then I don't do that. I do go around and look at the lot, but my dealership won't even do oil changes. They own a quick lube type place across the street that if you want the "dealership" to do your oil, you...
Thanks. To be clear, I didn't become an A-hole about it until they did the work I told them I would not pay for and then expected me to pay. And even then, it was not until they told me the TSB would not apply because "we didn't find it early enough"
I don't know about you, but I have no interest in buying a car that I have get to intimately know the service department that well. I did that with my 2000 Grand Am and the local Pontiac dealership took over 6 months to find and fix the issue. They never of course blamed me nor forced me to pay...
I guess I should also mention that I've spent over $200k at that dealership in the past 6 years, Well over half of that in the past 15-16 months. I also refer them like crazy because "they are so good" and I tell them that every chance I get... until now.
That said, I don't care if I've seen...
