Haven't done it with my '21 F150 yet but my '19 RAM and my wife's Jeep handle it just fine. I would be surprised if it didn't just work with your F150.
For those who got a matching spare did you also make sure the wheel had the same offset as the other four? I've been considering going to a matching spare but not sure if its worth the expense to also get a matching wheel. I have the Method 316 18" +18 wheels.
Well it's getting close to time to buy new shoes for the truck. I'm running 285/78R18 and for the current set I didn't buy a matching spare (living life on the edge) but am leaning towards getting a matching spare this time. That being said, my current wheels have a +18 offset which is obviously...
Had a similar issue on my '21 PB and it ended up being that the transmission was over filled when they worked on it last. Once that was resolved I've had zero issues.
Dedicated snows are the key. Is weight in the back necessary? Good question, that's up to you but I find it makes a noticeable difference and is a cheap solution.
The transmission shouldn't be getting that hot pulling that load. I had a similar issue with my '21 Powerboost and I was just pulling my motorcycle trailer. Turns out I had an issue with my transmission that the dealer had to resolve - I'm on vacation so don't have access to my service records...
Flipping your trip was a good call re: Beartooth Highway. We've had a lot of spring snow out here and it opened up late. There would have been a very good chance it was still closed when you were headed west. Love it when a plan comes together - sounds like a great trip!
Can you check 1FTFW1ED4MFB54966 to see if I have any updates queued? Wife's out of town this weekend so debating whether its worth spending time updating the truck again.
Thanks!
Weird. I still have the 'Release Notes' section in mine with the update details. The last update I had was 5/1 so not sure if that will stay until the next update? Until a set amount of time? Until my FP updates?
On my version it's there, just hidden under the "Settings" section at the bottom. Of course software update has nothing to do with the app settings but here we are.
Well I'll preface it by saying I live in Bozeman and they are just down the road from me so it was easier for me than others. Over the past year or so though they have increased their distribution model where they have some qualified dealers around the country to do installs. Previously you...
I believe they are +18 as that's all Method offers for the 316 in an 18" wheel (https://www.methodracewheels.com/collections/standard-wheels/products/316-matte-black?variant=31755738480701).
No rubbing with the BDS lift although had to trim a small part of the plastic valance in the front.
