I've got a 2022 2.7 502a Lariat. Love it. I don't get anywhere close to the mpg OP is posting but I do fine for a truck. 19ish most of the time 22-23 on trips. I enjoy it. Fits everyone in that I want. Has the utility that I want. Love 4A for the small winter I get.
My buddy has a 2019 Ram...
To echo what other have said the savings was thousands for me. I'll have to go back and look but I bought durring the peak of dealers adding mark ups so it was a lot of money. Plus Granger is the easiest dealership to deal with. When I left I thought something was wrong cause it was too easy...
I have a 2.7 Lariat SuperCrew 4x4, 3.55, short bed.
Everyone is going to be a little different. I will always hit 75+ on highways. I commute to the office a couple days per week. Sometimes there's bad traffic. I do a lot of stop and go around town with the typical family stuff. It's rare that I...
I bought the Ford ones from Ford accessories and the description says they're Zinc but they feel kinda plasticy to me. Maybe just a coating? I'd assume they're the same as factory if I'm buying from Ford but I've never compared. They do lock. I payed a little over 100 for the plates and the...
What metro are you near? I'm in the Nashville area and paid a little north of $100. Maybe $115-ish. I felt that was high and I'll be shopping for a new service dealer. At your price I'd expect they at least bought me dinner first.
That's about where I am. I think I'm 18.3 or 18.4 after about 6k miles. Most of my driving is around suburbia. Plenty of stop and go. On longer trips I get around 22. Sometimes a little better. On my logest trip I was over 23. I'm not a speed demon but I certinaly don't take my time either.
Sell private party. Or even sell to a local dealer. That's what I did. Unless Granger is giving you a significant offer on your trade its probably easier and less headache to unload it locally.
Still flew out to Granger to pickup my truck and then drove home the 12+ hours with a stop in the middle.
Echo what has been said a bunch already... it's worse in pictures than in person. However, I wanted the Sport pkg for the exterior changes and BAP wasn't an option when I ordered. So to get the exterior changes I preferred I had to get the 2 tone interior. I don't really notice it now. It's...
Yes. Done. Ready and waiting. 3 hours away from dealership. Just hanging out for 5 weeks. Dealer has no visibility into why. "Plant Hold." Was told that the transport companies are short handed. Not sure if that's the reason or just one of the reasons. I was pretty chill the whole process until...
I'll throw my testimonial in here as well. I picked up end of April. Throughout the process Chip was easy to work with and quick to respond. Mine was pretty straight forward, I made no changes. Generally I tried to stay out of their hair and let the process unfold. That was harder to do once it...
No insight sorry. Just seems pretty typical. I think mine sat 3 hours away from the dealership at a lot in KC for like 5 weeks and then finally was delivered. That seems the norm. Some seem luckier with faster shipment. Some seem unluckier.
Now that I'm at home I'm about 19 mpg lifetime. Not exactly what I was hoping for but only 1 mpg worse than my 2012 Maxima. I'm sure I'll get close to 22 for road trips or any consistent highway miles but it seems that I'll be at 19 most of the time. In both cases I'm not too far off the EPA...
Same as Kodiak. Completed my purchase with Granger just a few weeks ago. Start was building your config on the Ford site then saving as a pdf and emailing to Chip at Granger. He'll respond with the invoice pricing. I have no clue how that will work for 2022 vs 2023 pricing though.
