    It was easy to cutout the opening with a new blade on my box cutters. Cut it smaller and slowly remove material until it's a perfect fit. I drew a template to follow for the rough cut, then did the final cuts.

    Interesting. You should find a connector up there that powers the small, blue box. If you're not seeing that, then you might not have the wiring in place.
