  1. Another long use of the Power Boost generator.

Spent a long Memorial Day Weekend with friends down in southwest Virginia. No electricity for all of us RV'ers, so generators were in order. All I needed to do was plug the TT's shore power cord into the truck. Spent 91 hours hooked up. virtually no heavy electrical draws for me. I...

  3. Service Engine Soon

Friday of last week I got the engine icon in the dash with the message to Service The Engine Soon. Took the 2022 PB in Tuesday morning and got it back late yesterday afternoon from the dealer. The following are the codes recorded by the OBDLink MX-2 Codes: P0430, U0554-00, P0430-00, P0A1E-00...
  4. Question about my PPoB.

I received this message on my phone's Ford Pass app concerning my truck this afternoon. "Pro Power Onboard has too many items plugged in. Power output exceeded the system's maximum capacity. Try unplugging one or more items and reset the system via your SYNC screen." I'm scratching my head...

  6. Just finished another long road trip.

Labor Day weekend found us in Enosburg Falls , VT for the 50th Mayhew Family Reunion. This is my wife's mother's side of the family. This past weekend we were in Blacksburg, VA for a home football weekend, a total of 1,752.6 miles. Used 232.268 gallons of gasoline. Average MPG was 8.546...
  7. Latest extended use of the PPOB generator feature on my F-150 PowerBoost

Over Memorial Day weekend we traveled down to Stuart, VA from the Richmond. VA area. Our friend always has a big get together that weekend. Those of us from out of town stay in a field close to his house. He lives at the foot of the mountain where the Blue Ridge Parkway is located. It's...
  8. For grins, I just counted up the days I've spent in my travel trailer.

I bought this travel trailer new in Feb 21, 2021, so it's almost 2 years old. We have spent 154 days total in it. We have spent 90 days in it since getting the Power Boost in the middle of Feb 2022. That 90 days includes a just concluded 31 day sojourn in Apopka, FL. I need to figure out...

Just found the OBDLink MX+ on sale again. Normally $139.95, now $111.96. OBDLink MX+ on sale
  10. This is a little outside F150 subject matter, however ...

Dropped by a different local dealer to set up an appointment for the trailer connector recall, as well as change oil and rotate tires. After doing that, I walked through their showroom. In it, were 2 Ford GT's. One a 2005 model with the old 5.4L V8 engine. It couldn't have been new, but it...
  11. Broke in my 2022 Power Boost.

Needing a bunch of break in miles relatively soon, we drove down to Florida to see my wife's sister. Kill 3 birds with one stone. Visit relatives, get a little Bermuda shorts weather, and break in the new truck. Mission accomplished. It rade like a champ going down. Felt like it floated...
  12. Question WRT the OEM tires on my new truck.

I got a Power Boost , 6.5' bed, 4x4. It was supposed to come with all terrain tires. What I got were Michelin Primacy XC 275/65R18 116T tires. On Tire Rack, they are called all season tires, and they were panned by all the consumers. It hasn't been tested by Tire Rack. Anyone here have...
  13. Hooked my truck up to my house WiFi.

There were a number that popped up. 1 neighbor has a sense of humor, I guess. His wifi setup is named FBI Surveillance Van. In any case, The truck told me that I was up to date WRT to OTA updates.
  14. Had the truck in for steering warranty work this morning.

Wasn't anything too serious. The steering wheel didn't align with the wheels. If the truck was going straight down the road, the steering wheel looked as if it was making a broad right hand turn. Conversely, if the steering wheel was in a north/south position, the truck would turn to the...
  15. My Power Boost cargo capacity.

My salesman sent me several pictures via messenger today. I haven't figured out move them from his message to my computer. Included in the pictures was one of the yellow sticker with the cargo capacity. The capacity is 1645#. I had estimated 1632#. I'm happy with this number. should have...

  17. Not see 360 Degree Camera Package in 2022 Build & Price

I have a problem. When using the newly available 2022 F150 Build and Price program, I'm not seeing the 360 degree package, with either the regular Build and Price nor the A-Plan Build and Price. Has anyone else noticed this, or am I just blind. I definitely ordered it, and the window sticker...
  18. Tracking trucks on rail cars.

I check delivery via PalsApp and United Road. Is it possible to track the truck while subject to the tender mercies of the railroads?
  19. Power Boost, p tires, and towing.

If I'm not mistaken, the PB 4x4, with the 6.5' bed (157" WB) comes with 275/65R18 tires, which are P tires and not LT tires. I'm concerned about how well this truck, with AT P rated tired, will tow my 24.5' 6,000# GVWR travel trailer. My current set up, a 163" WB, 4x4 2014 XLT w/ Max Tow and...
