  1. Best Way To Protect My New F-150 Paint?

Ppf and coatings are great but I'd argue the single best thing is proper car washes. Washing properly will prevent the need to polish the paint often and wear our the clear coat. A proper wash also includes some protection, which can be done extremely efficiently during the drying process...
  2. Engine Block Heater Thermal Photos (3.5L EcoBoost V6)

Just went out and plugged mine in. It's going to well below zero and I'll take the peace of mind. Interesting images in this thread. Thank you.
  3. Business in da front Party Rear

There's quite a bit going on here, I think the rear spoiler looks nice.
  4. What did you do TO your F-150 today? 🙋🏻‍♂️

Cleaned and went with some really shiny tire shine, normally opt for the natural look.
  5. Found some scratches, How to fix, and Ford Paint Quality on 14th Gen

Can you feel the scratch with your fingernail?
  6. How to a Clean Ceramic Coat on interior

The best way to remove high spots on a cured ceramic coating is to apply a little more ceramic coat in that spot and level it out appropriately.
  7. Are there any advantages to 22” vs 20” wheels

No functional advantage , only plus is if one favors the look of more wheel and less tire sidewall. 22 tires are more expensive and there are less options. To upsize for a bit more sidewall the options become even more limited.
  8. What did you do TO your F-150 today? 🙋🏻‍♂️

Installed the black chrome Ford Performance Tip. Ended up painting the silver connector piece and the tailpipe so it's blends better from the back.
  9. Falken Wildpeak R/T - New Tire

Look very nice. I wish they came in 275/70r18 SL.
  10. Car Wash drive thru or at home?

Rinsless wash once a week in the summer. 2 Bucket wash every 5-6 weeks but I dread doing that. In the winter I use the wash bays and dry with topper. Keep it sealed or coated makes it easier to clean.
  11. Rust proofing

I never got a response from any linex in my area regarding questions on valugard. Extensive research lead m to the conclusion that there is no easy 1 and done solution. Annual diy treatments of lanolin products is what I went with. Looking for ideas on a good sprayer for the air compressor to...
  12. What did you do TO your F-150 today? 🙋🏻‍♂️

I didn't technically do anything to my f150 yet today, aside from staring it's rear a lot. I've got the itch to a small change, and despite opting against tailgate letter inserts previously, I'm bored enough to test it out. Truck is not sport package or chrome package, so it has some minimal...
  13. Wow, highway mpg!

What speed are you driving at? On a 400 mile highway trip I got just under 24 setting the cruise around 70. On the way back set the cruise around 76 and pulled 18, there was also a consistently strong crosswind. 2.7 eb
  14. Tire/Wheel weight vs take-off power?

Nothing scientific, but when I added summer wheels (extra 15 lbs per corner), I noticed a decrease with acceleration. With the stock wheels I'd use eco mode occasionally, not anymore. Regular mode is the new eco mode. At high speeds on the highway the heavier setup does just as well, if not...
  15. Fluid Film the chassis? (Corrosion protection)

Blaster paid a bunch of YouTubers to shill their product. Fluid film and woolwax are every bit as good, and in my experience the ff cans are more reliable.
  16. Best Tonneau / Bed-liner combo that minimizes Payload hit?

You're right on the bedrug at 17. Not sure where I got the 8 that I noted. Thanks
  17. Wheel mod thoughts...?

Black wheels tend to get lost in the wheel wells. Personally I prefer some contrast.
  18. 22" oem stealth package wheels

Great taste in wheels. Removal of the lip looks great with your BAP. I have the same ones, I'm going to powder coat mine light silver eventually. Pic with the lip for reference.
