Obviously the fuses didn't fix the problem. That was just wishful thinking on my part.
The Ford representative on this site contacted me about this issue and moved my complaint up to Ford customer service. Customer serviced called me and didn't have a clue why they were calling me, lol. I told...
I think those issues are caused by outside forces. My CarPlay disconnects and automatically shuts down my radio in the same exact spot of my commute every day. I found that if I quickly turn the radio back on it stands a better chance of reconnecting to the phone.
Almost every single fuse and all relays were out by almost 1/8"
Now I'll wait and see if any of my issues go away. I really want the complete loss of power while turning right to go away before I end up getting T-Boned.
Its my thinking that Ford added/changed just enough stuff on the 150 to get some people to buy it but didn't really make it a true "off-road" vehicle so the budget minded Raptor buyer wouldn't purchase it. The 250 Tremor is a great example of what it should look like with that package. That...
I was planning on doing something similar. I was going to use a 2" spacer with my 6112's on the second notch. I figured that would put me around 2.5" Which is just about perfectly level on my truck. That way I could keep the Bilstein ride with a little more height.
It looks like all they did was add slightly larger tires and threw on some "Off-Road Shocks." I'm not really impressed for the almost $20K additional cost. The rake on that thing is to severe to be considered an off road vehicle package..
Save yourself some money in monthly payments and taking a hit on trading it in down the road and just go with the XLT. Your commute will have you well over 100K miles in 4 years. I'm usually around 120k miles every 4 years.
I might take you up on that offer. I was thinking that maybe mine wasn't as high because I bought it for a 2020 and they still haven't released it for a 2021 yet.
How much are you looking to get for your 2.25? and where are you located at?
My truck only went up about 1.25" after settling. I want to be closer to the 2.5" mark. Each notch on the Bilstein's is about 0.25." So if I go down to the 2nd notch and add a 2" spacer lift that should get me there. Anything over 2.5" gets a bit sketchy without adding in longer upper control arms.
