Does my truck have front parking sensors?

Frick, that’s the one option I passed on so I could buy one off the lot. Guess I’ll be using that camera button every time.

A vote for EcoBoost here. Proven engine.

How much fuel in tank when you picked up?

    Full tank, 36 gallons.

Does my truck have front parking sensors?

Or maybe they just expect me to eyeball it with the 360 camera? If so, I’d hate to have to push the camera button every time (unlike in reverse, when it automatically turns on).

Does my truck have front parking sensors?

I guess my real question is whether the truck will alert me if I slowly approach an object in the front. I can’t imagine they’d take away a safety function on a higher priced model.

Does my truck have front parking sensors?

Adding page from owners manual, if this helps:

Does my truck have front parking sensors?

I bought a fully loaded 2021 KR with the 360 camera, etc. I have visible parking assist sensors on my rear bumper, but none visible on the front. But I know that a front camera is used when using the lane keeping system / adaptive cruise control. And the Ford manual lists a “front parking aid”...

2021 Lariat vs discounted 2020 Platinum or KR

I would test drive them all before deciding. The biggest game changer for me is all the updated technology in the 2021 vs. before, but not sure how important that is to you. Also, if financing over several years, may not make a huge difference if you can stretch your budget up another $5-$10K...

Rust on rear end of 2021 F-150 -- any others?

At a minimum, I’d expect them to wire brush off the rust. That at least gets it back to original specs.

Rust on rear end of 2021 F-150 -- any others?

For those who haven’t taken possession of your truck yet, make the dealer aware of the problem (my salesman didn’t know and was shocked when he crawled under the truck) and ask them to clean it off before completing the sale. My dealer did this and it took about an hour. If your dealer doesn’t...

Rust on rear end of 2021 F-150 -- any others?

“While some F-150 underbody steel components may show signs of surface rust, this will have no impact on part performance or life,” said Ford’s Dawn McKenzie. That about sums it up. Your rust is a ‘gift with purchase’ on your new $50-75K Ford truck. That b.s. may have worked thirty years ago...

Rust on rear end of 2021 F-150 -- any others?

Sounds like contacting Ford customer service may be your only option. Flame them on Twitter if needed (pix help). Unfortunately, I think buyers will have to refuse to accept their vehicles until the dealers clean it up. I had rust on mine, and told the dealer I wouldn’t close the deal until they...

    Doors hard to shut

My 2011 KR doors are heavier, but shut easier (steel vs. aluminum). On the new truck, I agree with what others have said about needing a little more oomph to shut them. But also agree that this truck is super quiet, so I’ll take these over the old ones any day. My wife commented when we bought...

List of your 2021 F-150 issues

Rust on the rear end (which was mostly cleaned up at the dealership), but that’s been about it. I had 135 miles on my truck when I purchased it. I have a feeling it was selected for heavy duty QC at the plant, and then was driven a few times at the dealership. My point being that any issues...

Heated steering wheel not very hot?

Mine is super warm, almost too hot. Used it daily during the Texas freeze last week. I would have your dealer take a look at it.
