  1. Tesla opening Superchargers to other automakers this year.

You just had to go and remind everyone of their age….. 😜 But yes, essentially that.
  2. Tesla opening Superchargers to other automakers this year.

It’s just your typical internet forum tribalist drivel. It’s best to do as you are now and scroll past it.
  3. Choosing your dealer

    Thanks man..
  4. Choosing your dealer

Which dealer? Feel free to PM me. I picked Interstate Ford in Dacono because it's the closest dealer but they have a history of marking up their inventory. Which brings up a related subject, does anyone know if and how we can change the dealer we set for our reservation?
  5. $12,500 tax credit possible?

Sorry, you are correct.. I meant Georgia. Both are Democrat.
  6. $12,500 tax credit possible?

Yea, I think they’ll have to remove the provisions for Unions or else they’ll lose support from southern Democrat Senators, like those from Alabama. But otherwise I think it still has a good chance of passing.
  7. Why no Limited trim Lightning?

The current generation arrived earlier this year. It had all trim levels at the time of launch. I do, however, think Ford wanted to keep things simple for the first year of the Lightning. The only question I have is what impact the new EV tax credit will have (assuming it becomes law). The new...

It’s still moving forward. According to this, it probably won’t get the the Senate floor until next month. https://www.forbes.com/wheels/features/12500-tax-credit-for-electric-vehicles-what-it-means/
  10. 2021 F-150 Lightning With Extended Battery May Get ~460 Miles Range, Unloaded!

Agreed. Let’s see the TFL guys or someone else get a real world test to tell us what range they get.
  11. 2021 F-150 Lightning With Extended Battery May Get ~460 Miles Range, Unloaded!

I'm sure there are several ways this could be wrong. But we know that Ford has been sandbagging on their range. The EPA and real life numbers are proving that. Frankly, I'm impressed with Ford for under-promising and over-delivering.
  12. Recommend’s or exp w quality seat covers?

Never once heard of them. Also, Katzkins are made in the USA. TrailRecon did a video on them this week.
  13. 2021 F-150 Lightning With Extended Battery May Get ~460 Miles Range, Unloaded!

Unfortunately, I agree with you. It'll take a government regulation to resolve it.
  14. 2021 F-150 Lightning With Extended Battery May Get ~460 Miles Range, Unloaded!

I've driven that stretch a few times myself. Even a gas vehicle can have an issue if you don't pay attention. I remember driving up from Amarillo, for the first time. I didn't gas up in Amarillo and there were zero gas stations almost all the way to the Texas state line. It was like an episode...
  15. $12,500 tax credit possible?

One other thing I hadn’t been thinking about. Shouldn’t the F150 Lightning qualify for the Section 179 deduction for small businesses? For those that don’t know. If you own a small business, you can buy a truck with a GVWR between 6000 and 14000lbs and deduct the full value of that vehicle on...
  16. Lightning software bugs?

So, it should be taken with s grain of salt at this point but what are your thoughts on the software bugs this couple have run into with the Mach-E? The F150 Lightning will have similar software.
  17. Recommend’s or exp w quality seat covers?

Definitely Katskinz. I’m adding them to my Jeep this winter.
  18. Too early to talk colors for 2022 F-150 Lightning?

Most likely, I’m going with Atlas Blue. I personally love Velocity Blue from my old Raptor and Atlas is the closest to that.
