No good pics because Oxford white is well, Oxford white. BUT, 2 step polish/paint correction and 5 year ceramic coating done. We’ll see if it holds up to the brush pinstripes I put my rig through
I have the FX4 Powerboost and will be taking my stock ones off soon. They are used and scratched and dinged but still line up and bolt on no issues. Would let them go cheap if interested
I had initially bought husky liners, but they interfered with my aftermarket mud flaps. The liners will give you a little more coverage but I prefer being able to see that top shock bolt :)
Today I did what the factory should have done to begin with (or at least include wheel well liners!) Took my rig to the local Line-x shop and had them spray the rear wheel wells. Looks much better imo, and will prevent rock chipping! Before and after photos:
That plastic trim for the middle seatbelt on the rear bench that catches when folding up the rear bench bugs me so much! But I also haven’t really dug into it to see if I can fix it
Have these issues all been on 21' models? I have used 4x4 for a few hundred miles on my 22 and haven't had issues, but I also haven't applied much power while in reverse. If mine is going to break I sure hope it happens before warranty is up.
I have had wraps done in the past on cars for projects temporarily. It's a good option for changing the look of your truck but is fairly pricey and not super sturdy. If its done well, and maintained properly, it should last 5+ years. After that you would most likely need to remove it and replace...
Thanks! I like to do work myself, but this would have been a pain at my apartment. I bought the parts from Camburg in Huntington Beach, and they did they install for me. Very high quality parts, and very smart guys over there.
I agree! I'm very lucky that this is just a few hours away! However, we have to suffer CA cost and politics as a trade off. CA does offer endless views and off-roading if you know where to look and get lost every once in a while!
