I ended up buying a truck off the lot a little over a month ago, but have still been tracking the truck I ordered. Yesterday it finally flipped to awaiting shipment and looks like it'll be at the dealer end of this week or early next week.
Looks good! I did the same to my 2019 Ranger and it seemed to hold up pretty well. Want to do the same to my F150, but probably need to upgrade my air compressor first. Not sure my little 8 gallon is up to the task again 😂
How many bottles/coats did you do?
I would consider myself to be fairly competent when it comes to backing a trailer, but figured that since the truck came with the feature I'd give it a try. Setup on my boat trailer was pretty easy, took all of about 10 minutes including calibrating it.
I will say there is definitely a learning...
Here's the final summary frim my trip last week from Detroit to western SoDak and back. Pretty impressed with the mileage this thing gets. For comparison, I did this same trip on 3 different occasions with my 2019 Ranger (which also has a 24mpg highway fuel economy label), and averaged 19.8...
My parent's driveway is starting to look like one of Ford's holding lots, except all our F150s are complete and fully functional 🤣
My 2021 XLT (black), my sister's 2021 XLT (blue), and my dad's 2014 👍 all have the 3.5L (with mine also being a powerboost).
Just did a drive from my house just outside of Detroit to my parent's place in western SoDak. A little over 1200 miles, only had to stop once for fuel! Pretty impressed with it so far. 👍
I track my mileage in a Google sheet, so we'll see how this compares to the pump when I fill the tank again.
Same here, only it's an XLT 302a Chrome PB (ordered a 302a Sport, but eh, I don't mind the Chrome) and it was already on the lot. This one didn't have the 7.2kWh PPO or the work station, but it has a sunroof, rear slider, Co-Pilot 360 2.0 w/ connected Nav, and the trailer tow pack which were all...
My guess would be that they updated the date to something far enough out so they don't have to update it every week. I'm sure they'll release a handful of trucks here or there as they get parts, but at this point, there's really no way of knowing for sure until it actually shows up at the...
It's called "Palsapp"... associated with Jack Cooper Transport
I'll keep an eye on mine, if it get's bumped that far out, there's a couple diesel's that are similar spec to my PB that are local that are my plan-b's.
Looks like mine went to a holding lot outside the Detroit Airport. 😕 The irony is that I've probably driven by my truck every day since it arrived there  I still have an ETA of 5/11, but I'm not holding my breath at this point.
I keep telling myself to just be patient lol
I don't think I had anything that would have held it up? It's a PB 302A, tow tech, tailgate step, B&O, and work surface. I don't think the work surface is a constraint anymore either, seems to be mainly bed liners and fender liners. Have an ETA of...
This comes from an internal Ford tracking system. I think most people have been bugging a member on another forum for it. I have access to the system (with the disclaimer that I'm not open for business to take requests lol) 🤷♂️
Sync 4 is an internally developed product based on the QNX operating system. Ford hasn't had a Microsoft product in their vehicles since ~2015.
My 2019 Ranger is weird with both CarPlay and Android Auto if I leave the phone connected thru a key cycle. Not sure who exactly is to blame, Ford or...
Also got my sticker last night; 4/28 Blend date. For fun, I was comparing it to my sticker for my 2019 Ranger. I had forgotten that my Ranger was built in April of 2019 with a 4/27 Blend date... guess I have a thing for April trucks 😂
