I have a Platinum with the Carmelo interior on order. My build date was updated this week to 01/22/21. It was originally 12/14. The VIN was issued last month.

Just received a call from my dealer. My build date was pushed out another month into January. It's now scheduled to be built the week of January 18th. I'm now at a 2 month delay from the original build date. Starting to wonder if it's actually going to get built.

Like Roger said, it's the term Ford uses to signify dealers can submit retail orders/special orders. In other words, it's ok for them to submit customer's build requests beyond their stock orders.

I don’t know if it’ll make a difference now that OKTB is happening soon. But it can’t hurt to ask your dealer....specifically talk to the inventory manager.
