So, I’ve had BC up and running for a week or so now hand have used on a dozen or so drives.
I find the “Watch the road” alerts to be as annoying as the “keep hands on wheel” warnings that were there before. If I glance at the radio or look down to the dash for more than a second, the warnings...
I noticed right away that it’s slower to pickup the lanes for lane keep assist - driving through town. Perhaps, even outside of BC it’s searching for a higher level of accuracy in lane markings than before. Perhaps it’s learning and will get beck to being quicker. A few times there’s a slow line...
Makes sense, I’m fairly familiar with engine tuning and it’s complex on its own. Throw EV motors into the ICE mix and it gets even more complex. A whole new set of variables to control for charging and discharge state in idle, acceleration, cruise, deceleration… all in various drive modes. Makes...
Eco definitely has less throttle response.
I think, when in Eco there is more electric support when both EV + ICE are running, which leads to more drain of the battery and shorter EV only cruises. In Normal, the focus is a bit less on EV + ICE driving in order to give prolonged EV only.
I tried the TSB 22-2117 OTA fix today. Didn’t work for me. I’m wondering if it wasn’t happy since I’m already updated past 1.7.1.
I suspect there are 2 parts to this “fix”: one applies the APIM repair to allow for easier updates where we all struggled at 1.7.1 and the second is Ford fixing the...
I’m all out of updates. Currently at APIM 22034 354 and all modules green.
I did get a ford pass blue cruise active notification.
My Sync screen does not show any blue cruise information.
my driver assistance settings don’t show anything to enable blue cruise.
I just installed the APIM for 22028 358 and the GWM is installing now. At which update should I see BC stuff?
I know there are more after this GWM that will pop up, but seeing BC stuff show up will be a good status confirmation.
So the GWM took. This is the list of modules updated in the last few days in order. I can’t be sure that the IPMA actually took with block 4 or not, but the USB validation certainly wasn’t done. I have no further updates in FDRS. IPC is still in progress though. ABS showed an update on Monday...
ok, just picked up the truck andIPMA isn’t bricked. It’s green in fdrs. No updates available in fdrs but the tech doesn’t believe block 4 went through.
I can’t tell exactly what’s going on, but I have a cable and fdrs for the weekend.
