I agree, don't waste your time.. find another dealer.. I had to move to another dealer. They found I had a defective battery which first dear said was fine. If your truck is early build 21 model there are many with bad battery. Even on charger they will encounter issues trying to update it...

They do give you the choice, reach to the dash and press the button one time. Not sure why this seems to be such a big deal. No different than buckling up your seat belt. It will become muscle memory and you'll buckle up reach over and press the button. jmho

UPDATE: Took it to my dealer and they successfully updated the BC Software. All is working as it should. Also replaced the battery.. I have it set for Auto updates so I would expect OTA'S to install.. I haven't received any messages in my Ford app since January 2021.. Over a year. I have...

I don't think they accomplished anything.. They said there was 4 separate updates and it crashed near the end of the 3rd. Mechanic said it was wanting to start back on the first one.. So I believe it was a wasted day..

First time dealer tried it..

As I thought, it was a. clown show. Was nearly finished with my blue cruise software downloading and computer crashed..6 hours in.. They said.. "We've never had that happen before" Didn't save any of it. Have to reschedule for another try.
