After 16 grueling weeks of many emotions, 3 spec changes and about 87 contemplations of cancellation until all this crap blows over, Frosti finally hit home turf.

Ordered on 2/11 with a bunch of options I later had to remove to get it built, it sat for almost 2 months with no VIN number. Finally I removed the power running boards and wheelwell liners from my order (and also accidentally removed the 20" wheels ?) and it was scheduled the next day. Built May 12, shipped immediately and arrived at the dealership yesterday! Really wish I could've had the power running boards but to get the truck within a reasonable time frame I had to forego them.

Truck itself is a Lariat Sport 502a Ecoboost with max tow, work surface, B&O unleashed, power tailgate, pano roof and tow mirrors.

I am super super thrilled to see the truck show up. It will be in it's stock form for less than a week before it starts going under the knife. I've had a different vehicle almost every year for the last 6 years and I'm sick of the juggle, so I'm really looking forward to making this one my own and enjoying it for awhile.

Here's the immediate plan. Most of this stuff is already either in my garage ready to go, or in stock at my local truck shop waiting to install:
  • 2" Zone Level
  • 20x9 Hostile Sprocket +10mm Blade Cut Finish
  • 295/60R20 Toyo Open Country ATIII
  • RoadMaster Active Suspension to bring back a little rake and control squat with my toy hauler
  • Painted to Match Mirror Caps
  • Painted Black/White front and rear ovals
  • BakFlip MX4
  • XPEL full front paint protection film
  • 15% window tint front & rear
  • 12" Kickback Mudflaps
  • Boost Auto Parts Smoked Switchback mirror lights
  • Line-X Platinum bedliner
Eventually I'd like to get the following done, but these will be a down the road item for sure:
  • Headlights and taillights split and painted/blacked out
  • Grille bars painted gloss black
  • Side wing emblems de-badged and paint-matched.
Truck is booked in for lift, wheels and tires on Monday, Tint and PPF next thursday and then my own personal touches shortly after! Stick around for this little build to unfold :D

Any rubbing with that offset?
Just the air dam and wheelwell liner. I'm close to the rear crash bar however. Worried I might cut the tire on a sharp turn and large bump.

Tint matched front windows and XPEL PPF on the whole front end, a-pillars, leading edge of roof and rocker panels up to the body line done yesterday. Bakflip MX4 and spray liner done earlier in the week. I still have a Swingcase toolbox, Boost auto parts switchback smoked mirror lights and wheelwell liners to install myself next week (thanks FordPass points).

Kickback mudflaps will be coming soon too as these wheels have a little more offset than I was expecting and I drive my fair share of gravel roads. The rockers are protected with PPF but these tires love to toss gravel and mudflaps are mandated where I live. Would be nice to not have a puddle coat my entire truck in dirt too ?

For now the new girl has her first maiden voyage this weekend! Excited to see how it pulls!

How much rake did the road master suspension add? Wanting to add the same setup but after looking at yours I’m thinking about going with a 3” lift up front instead of a 2.5” level so I’m sitting dead level after adding the road master. Thoughts?

Raised it about an inch. I don't mind the little bit of rake but if you want it dead level I'd go with a lighter setting on the RAS. I wouldn't touch a 3" lift in the front end. A lot of wear on your CV's and ball joints.

Looks great. No issues with the RAS and the Max Tow I'm assuming? It claims it only works with OEM leaf packages and need to remove any extra leaf springs. What's not clear is if you need to remove the extra leaf from the Max Tow setup. I would hope not but waiting for a confirmation before I pull the trigger.

No issues with the max tow leafs. The way mine was installed it hit the bracket for the headlight leveling arm when it was loaded down so I had to trim the little ear of the bracket. Alternatively you could bend the bracket back an inch or so or install the RAS at a steeper angle using the 3rd hole on the lower bracket at the axle instead of the last hole like mine is. I think that's what I need to do as I still need to max out my WDH on my toy hauler to get my truck to sit somewhat level. I think I could get a little more out of the RAS with some adjustments.

I ended up installing it on the second hole and then also making sure that the bolts in the bracket had the nuts on the outside giving a little more clearance inside. I'll need to double check it under load but I think I'll clear. I hope. ?

I was going to go to the third hole but I wasn't sure I would have enough clearance between the adjusting nut and the leaf mounted part of the headlight leveling arm.
