Just had 35x12.5/20 Toyo AT3’s and a leveling kit installed. Zero rub at full lock. Previously had the same size tire on a 2019 with 2.5” leveling kit and had a little rub at full turn.

i like the stance of your truck. Can you clarify it is a 2021 and answer some questions for me so I have all the info on 1 listing?

1) Can you give me the tire size complete and make?
2) can you give me the size of the rim, width, and offset
3) your level kit is 2.25" what brand?
4) Did you happen to have any problem with sensors being off.
You have no rubbing turn to turn correct? What about on rough roads while bouncing does it rub?

Reason I ask these questions is because I was told by several dealers that 35's would never fit without trimming and cutting the front and rear crash bars. My truck is a 2021 platinum fully loaded 4 wheel drive..

I really appreciate the info. I dont want to buy tires and rims and find out they dont fit or I have to cut the body or inner fenders

I'm sure he will lose 1-2mpg at a minimum. Bank on 2-3mpg loss for a leveling and ovesize tires im my experience.

Looks awesome. How is the clearance on the upper a-arm and knuckle to the tire sidewall? I want to put 35x12.50 on my XLT but that’s my only question. Looks amazing. ??

If the 2” spacer lift works & doesn’t make the sensor go wonky, this will too
I installed the Fox 2.5 Factory Race Coilovers that provide a 2" level last night after work along with the 2.5 Fox Rear Piggyback shocks. The Lights seemed to level themselves well, I did have the stock wheels in the back with the running boards so it was squatting a bit, will know more as I drive this weekend. That being said this video gave me confidence that the sensors would work.

And agree, there is no difference between an upgraded coil that levels the truck 2" and a spacer increases the OEM shock 2". There is a sensor in the front UCA and on the rear leaf spring so it should be balancing itself based on input front F & R.

For those curious on the wheel setup. I had a 2.5 King setup lifted 2" on my 2018 which was stolen last month. Bothe the 2021 and 2018 ran a 17x8.5 0 offset wheel mounted to 35x12.5r17 BFG K02s and with the 0 offset wheel a lot of trimming is required both on the new 2021 and on the 2018. With the 0 offset wheel the 35 tire rubs on both front and rear crash bars, sawzall and circle saws required.

Was surprised to see you can fit a 35 on the OE wheel, very clean setup. I will start a separate thread once I have the setup dialed for those looking to go more aggressive route. We do a lot of overland type driving with the truck loaded down so went with the beefy 2.5's and will be doing a AirRide kit in the rear to keep things level when loaded up.

EDIT* - also confirmed with several vendors that aftermarket shocks for the 2015-2020 F-150 work on the 2021 and they were correct.

maybe some of you don’t really understand how a 2” level works, it spaces the coil over down 1.5” or so, which equates to about 2” at the end of the A-Arm. It does change factory geometry, steeper angle for the upper & lower arms as well as a harsher angle on the 1/2 shafts for your 4wd.

If you want to maintain ‘factory angles’ then something like the BDS 4” would be better. Relocates the lower arm, moving the inboard pivot point down. They replace the wheel spindle with a taller one that goes to the factory or aftermarket upper control arm.

that being said, I do plan to level mine with a 2 inch level via Fox coil overs. Same as a spacer kit, just a better shock.

just waiting to hear feedback as to how the sensor adjusts to the new UCA angle.
I also originally wanted to maintain factory geometry and go with the BDS kit however changed my mind after read it cuts a crossmember.

Was hoping to go with 34s and minimal poke to hopefully rub very little at factory height. Or maybe get a minimal spacer.Did you find any compatible part #s yet?

Wow this is possible with no rubbing or trimming??? I see conflicting info even on this forum and YouTube for 35x12.5/20 on stock wheel… would love this look personally on mine (have the same wheels).

Made an account just to reply to this....I had a 2.25 on my ‘18, and really want to do the same setup and was already looking at the same tire size. Why is there so much conflicting info on what works and what doesn’t? Clearly you are using a previous Gen spacer kit and basically a 35” diameter by roughly 12.5 wide tire, which half the internet says is impossible. I’m just so confused as to what will work and what won’t. I’m ok with trimming a bit but refuse to touch the crash bars. I’m trying to fit 295/65-20’s on those same factory wheels and it looks like it can be done with the readylift 2” for the 21’s. Akins Ford in GA is doing it according to their YouTube channel

Thanks! I just found another video from town and country Ford that says with the 2” readylift they are fitting up to a 35x12.5-20 on factory wheels with no trimming or rubbing. So the 295/65-20 which is about an inch narrower should fit no problem

I installed the ReadyLift 2.0 kit and put Nitto Terra Grapplers (295X65R20) on the stock wheels with no spacers.

No rub here. Ride quality is a LITTLE bouncier, but very minor difference.

Between the two changes, I gained about 3.5-inches of height in the front end, and about an inch and a quarter in the back.

there is a 1-inch rake on the truck still, which I think will be good for hauling a little bit.

So tires are getting scarce around me, but I ended up going with the 2” readylift and 35x12.5-20 DESTINATION XT tires. Should fit nicely
