Actually, I'm not sure on the time. I got my confirmation the morning of the 20th but it says my reservation was the 19th. I thought I did it that night but I could be misremembering.

Just some number crunching estimates to match Reservation timestamp up against possibility of actually getting a Lightning in 2022:

Reveal Event was 9:30 pm EDT 5-19-21

Reservation Website Opened about the same start time

My reservation 9:07 am EDT 5-20-21 (11 hours 37 Minutes from Start of Event)

My #108 437 xx

Ford said more than 20,000 1st 12 hours Reservations

So I must be about number 20,000 (+/- 1,000)

66% Bronco Reservations were Converted to Orders

15,000 to be Built 1st Model Year (Ford does not Confirm this Media Number)

20,000 X 66% = 13,200

This would give me a good shot at Late Spring 2022 or Early Fall for 2023 Model

*On a side note my Confirmation Email came within a minute of my paying with Credit Card. I believe that is the rough date and time to use as your timestamp.

These are ALL Official Ford Media Estimates:

12 Hours = +/- 20,000 (May 19-20)
48 Hours = 44,000-45,000 (May 21)
1 Week = 70,000 (May 26)
3 Weeks = 100,000 (June 9)
2 1/2 Months = 120,000 (End July)
3 1/2 Months = 130,000 (Sept. 1)

Sample Reservation List:

*Be Aware this sample is ONLY .005% of the Total Ford Estimates - a Very Very Small Representative Sample.

Lowest Reservation Numbers (As of 9-07-21 and 557 Entries) are 108 01xxx and 108 03xxx but I think these are typos and might be corrected given a way to do it.

I think the lowest starts are at 108 13xxx.

The Highest to Date is 111 81xxx.

I Believe you can use the above numbers to gauge where you stand using your Reservation Date and Timestamp on what Number Order (1-130,000) you can expect.

Remember that the Published Initial 15,000 Builds is NOT a Ford Number but rather a Media Number from "Sources".
