Hi All.
What is the main different between Retail and stock orders that I keep reading about in this forum! Also, I think I have a 10 priority as per the build sheet. Is that good?

Thanks
You don't want a stock order now that OKTB is here. Stock orders are what the dealer orders to put on the lot. Retail are presold units to your specifications.

Do we know if that applies to powerboosts as well? If so I will be doing some wheeling and dealing tomorrow... One of my dealers said he was putting in both for me, but I thought we were supposed to put a deposit on a retail order.

My dealer told me that mine was going in as a special order and would also get a green window sticker.
He told me this when I ordered and provided a deposit.
Today, he showed me a green window sticker on a special order Super Duty XL.
I had never seen one before.
I wonder if “retail” and “special order” are different?

Albert with Granger told me the same thing - Green Window sticker. I assumed that was because it's a stock and not a retail order.

Green tag tells the dealership not to sell the truck, it's already taken. Customer custom order.

Guys, you want RETAIL orders now, not stock.

Once OKTB was achieved, the retail orders became the priority.

If you have a stock order in the system and has been picked up and scheduled, do NOT change it, for it will not lose it's place in line.

Same for PowerBoosts.

This is the load sticker on my current ‘18 F150 and I ordered my new one basically the same as this one. Max tow, Lariat, 6.5 box, 3.5 eco boost, GVWR 7050.

New to the forum and would like to say thanks to everyone and all the good information. Ordered mine 8-20-2020. Finally got a VIN with expected build of first week of February. In it for the long haul ?

My 2017 XLT 302A Super Cab 6.5' bed 3.5 Ecoboost reads 2066lbs payload. I still have the window sticker too. If you'd like pictures I can provide.

BTW this forum and Bronco6G have been amazing sources of info. Thanks to all involved.

Man I absolutely hate white trucks but this white sport model looks bada$$ with the black accents.
I agree, the white with black looks sweet. I don't care for the XLT grille though. Looks cheap to me

20’s arent required on the max tow. I went with the 18’s for hopefully a better ride and honestly I like the look of the sport wheel 18’s better than the 20’s for the 2021 models. (just me, and I wavered based on looks) I have 20’s on my current 2016. They look nice but not worth the money to me.

I think The only way to get the really high payload is the HD payload package but that’s not available on the sport models and I don’t need that much payload to sacrifice some other things I want for the other 50 weeks a year I’m not pulling a trailer.
20s are required on chrome package XLT/Lariat (at least). Sport package is ok with 18s.

Looks like the BASE XL grille.
Bajeebies, It's an XLT and it at least needs a splash of something.
