Recall Issue: Windshield Wipers Motor May Fail on 2021 F-150 (222,454 vehicles affected)

In addition to the wiper motor recall we've seen (and wait until 3rd quarter or so for the parts) AP reported this morning yet another wiper recall -

"The recall covers more than 222,000 F-150 pickups from 2021. The windshield wiper arms can break. Dealers will replace the arms if needed. Owners will be notified starting March 27."

Potential Number of Units Affected: 222,454

Summary
Ford Motor Company (Ford) is recalling certain 2021 F-150 vehicles. The windshield wiper arms may break, causing the windshield wipers to fail.

Remedy
Dealers will inspect and replace the wiper arms, as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed March 27, 2023. Owners may contact Ford customer service at 1-866-436-7332. Ford's number for this recall is 23S10. This recall expands previous recall number 22V-250.

Great still waiting on parts for the wiper recall from last year: 22V-142 and now I can add this one to the list. Is it wrong for me to not have too much faith in that Q4 parts availability estimate? Especially considering they've moved the estimate for the first recall 3 times now.

The brake line recall covers nearly 1.3 million 2013 through 2018 Ford Fusion and Lincoln MKX midsize cars...not the F150.

I had service today.

They ordered another wiper motor, that had already been replaced.

Also, they already knew that my driver's side wiper arm shoot beyond the windshield and had one already on hand before the latest recall. Was just waiting for the oil change to take place.

Maybe it’s just me, I noticed the driver side wiper occasionally tapping the A pillar while wiping, extremely annoying. I am recalled, waiting on parts…
