So got a VERY good deal on a USED 21 Super Cab... just wanted to test out the truck and new electronics and way it drives.

Nothing crazy just
Sport XLT 302a supercab
2.7
3.55 Rear locker
Box link

Sticker was about 49k
I got it for 35k and 500 miles on it

I'm still waiting for my other 21 to be built ordered in Sept and my date keeps getting pushed back which at this point in a month or so I might just dealersearch for a loaded powerboost platty with 6.5 bed

This truck drives nice just did a 140 mile trip from Michigan no wind noise in cab and averaged about 22 mpg in EcoMode on highway... still getting used to new electronics but so far very nice truck

Some pictures...
Tint
STX 20 inch takeoffs
Shorty antenna
Coming soon

Looking at the tracker statistics, it seems that regular cab 2021 orders are in the minority. I will put up a few pictures of my truck with hopes it will make any others feel less lonely. In a world flooded with crew cab trucks, I had to order mine after a long and fruitless search for 2020’s and even 2019’s. The majority had options that made no sense, or dealer add-ons that I wouldn’t have wanted even if they were free, like tinted windows (most of my driving is at night) or bed liner (I do a lot of work with metal and it just gets stuck on or gouges the liners) and I wanted the V-8 4X4 with 3.73 gears and 9.75 axle. The heavy duty payload package was hard to pass up, so I went with the 8’ bed and it still fits in my small driveway without any effort. It doesn’t look quite as long in person and in fact, I panicked for a moment thinking it was a short bed when I saw it from behind parked in the dealer’s back lot.

Unfortunately, Ford decided that several options aren’t available with the regular cab. I really wanted the LED headlights, 4A transfer case and sliding rear window. I would like to at least get the sliding window, then hopefully some information about adding the OEM LEDs will appear and maybe some day, after the warranty expires, I will feel adventurous enough to swap out transfer cases.

Unloaded, the ride is stiff, though comfortable and on the highway it rides super smooth and quiet. The steering is almost too light and doesn’t have much feedback at low speed. The brakes feel good with a nice stiff pedal. I haven’t gotten any opportunity to use four wheel drive but hopefully will next week.

Thank you for all the pictures.
My 2021 sits just like this .
Can you or someone at Ford Answer why the 2021's appears to sit so low in the front and look so high in the rear? (My 2014 F150 FX4 model seem to sit pretty level.)

Thank you! The wheels are the ones that come with the heavy duty payload package. I think they’re pretty sharp and they remind me a bit of the oldschool BBS snowflake wheels. I was pleased to find out that I have a matching spare when I peeked underneath.

For some trims, you can select the HDPP wheels as an option, I believe another member here has.

I got my truck on Saturday, dealer leveled it and installed my wheels- fuel 20x9's with +20 offset. I have terra grappler 295/60's on it. They also put my custom Ford emblems and the putco black platinum f150 lettering on. I added the BAKFlip mx4 tonneau cover, antenna, and some weathertech all weather mats.

I ordered those for my Super, 8’
wanted something better than base XLT wheels, but nothing so fancy to cost an arm and a leg.
Besides, dogs in the neighborhood are just gonna pee on em anyway.
I also like them.
just like the stretched out 164 wheelbase that won’t be out there for the masses, these wheels are not going be all over the place either.
I don’t have a proper towing package or HDPP.
the wheels are available with HDPP in XL, XLT
or stand alone option on XLT

That 164” wheelbase is probably pretty comfortable. Unfortunately, after parallel parking pickups and cargo vans in Manhattan and Chicago, I knew that I couldn’t go too long. I almost got the shortbed but knew I would be able to use the longbed better. Same for the Supercab, my first truck was an extended cab Dodge Dakota and it was the perfect size. I considered the Supercab with the 6.5’ bed but you can’t get the HDPP in that configuration. I had steel wheels on my last truck and planned on ordering the new truck with them to save a few bucks but they came with it. Did you also get the matching spare?

I am starting to like them and might keep my eyes open for another set, which might be hard. Right now there’s four sets of used 17” Raptor wheels near me but they won’t fit over the rear disc brakes, which are bigger than the front on Max Tow and HDPP. I plan on getting larger off-road tires for just when I go on 4X4 trips.

I like the lettering, I looked up the part number for the tailgate because I was thinking of taking mine off and putting on a new one with the embossing filled in and the logo debadged. After seeing your truck, maybe I will just find some chrome lettering and put that on. I would have also done a chrome trim delete on my truck, however it wasn’t available for my build in 2021, despite being available on a nearly identical build for the 2020’s.

For someone that’s never leveled a truck. How much would be a reasonable amount $ to level and align the truck?
