All units produced after this date will feature the Light Oil Rubbed Film Applique. Please note that the Light Oil Rubbed Film Applique is currently used on the 22MY F-150 Raptor 800A. The Carbon Fiber Applique is still optional on 801A and is not effected by this change. The impacted parts include the following:
  • Driver Side Door Panel Applique, Passenger Side Door Panel Applique, Driver Side Vent Bezel, Left Hand Cluster Bezel, Right Hand Cluster Bezel, Upper Glovebox Door, Passenger Side Vent Bezel

How does the auto start/stop removal work in 4x2 models since it cannot be deleted? Will they just not build 4x2 trucks since you can't delete that option on 3.5 and 2.7 engines?

Glad I bit the bullet and purchased a special order truck that someone end up not wanting that's spec'd similar to the one I ordered a month ago. By the time I took delivery of the original truck it'd probably end up being a Ranger lol

I’m doing the same thing today—heading over to my dealer to grab a loaded Platinum Smoked Quartz with all the items deleted by ford—so no Rapid Red Club for me.

By removing massaging seats, max recline and carmelo interior. What is the point of getting a Platinum?
That's a good question, I don't have any desire to get a King Ranch without massaging seats or Max recline either.

Very curious what this means, as it says they will force delete the options, I have no desire for a truck without those options.

Would rather let it sit on the order books until the 2023 and see what kind of discounts they give like the 21s that rolled over.

@Granger Ford

How will the cancellation of orders resulting from the un-premiuming of the higher trims affect the 200 order backlog that Zach recently cited? Will it move the remaining unscheduled orders closer to fulfillment before additional feature reductions infect the rest of the fleet?

With every cancellation we see, The rest of the unscheduled orders will move closer, however if the remaining orders have commodities that Ford cannot build, they will be skipped over.

@Granger Ford are you able to confirm authenticity of this?

With the force delete language, does that mean if you order a premium trim that it will not sit on the order books and roll over, they will delete the options and build it as such?

Thank you for any color you can share on the situation.

They Legit offered $(300) for the removal of multi contour !?!?!

LMAO seriously?? 300!!

What a joke

My thoughts exactly.

If ford thinks we are going to pay 90k and not have what we want they are on glue
There will be plenty of glue eating buyers still....sadly. I am not one of them if this is forced.

So with the removal of Adaptive Steering that means no more Blue Cruise for any 2022 trucks right?
