I just got a phone call that my truck came in few hours ago. I’m going to go and check it out tomorrow. It f*cking pisses me off that there’s literally only 1 option missing yet probably some good incentives/rebates are attached to the truck. I’m thinking if i can negotiate them a bed cover and bed liner free of charge then i walk away maybe? Idk i would like to hear your guy’s feedbacks.

What was the one option that they left off? I forgot what you previously mentioned.

I negotiated a free spray-in liner from my dealer after he told me ordering through Ford would delay the build. The worst they can say is no.

I honestly feel like the bed liner doesn’t cost them anywhere close to what they charge to a customer.

I agree with that. I think they mentioned it would be a little cheaper than Ford but would have been around $500.

Could they build a new one as a high priority and save your incentives? It was their mistake. If they could crank one out and ship it in less than a month might be worthwhile. (Or did I miss something? This thread is moving too fast for me to keep up)

I'm actually surprised that they sell spray in bed liners as cheap as they do. It's a lot of work to do it right with sanding, taping edges, removing bolts/tailgate, and all of the specialized equipment to spray hot thick goop evenly. There is big difference between a shop doing it right and doing it half a$$ed too. God forbid they don't tape or mask things well and you get that stuff anywhere you don't want it.

Tonneau bed cover to my Dearborn order because it would delay things. So, I ordered from dealer and they're charging me $200 to install. Tried for the free install, but that didn't work.

I just got my “shipped“ email too even though Ford Marketing and the dealer both show it shipped on the 10th. I’m hoping the email means the transport away from DRB has left.

Don't trust the timeliness of the emails. I would trust your dealer updates and Ford Marketing first.
