iPhone ringer volume?

My Iphone Xr ringer volume keeps going to Max. I finally noticed it was happening after connecting to the truck.

Anyone else experiencing this?

mine is similar but I had the “change with buttons” turned on. I turned that off and the last time i headed out it did not change the ringer volume. So maybe that was the ticket.

Excellent, I had a hunch that’s what it was. Still, I don’t think the truck should mess with that, hopefully @Ford will solve it in a future truck software update.

Hey,

You can turn off Change with Buttons. This may solve your question. But if you face the iPhone volume stuck or not working, you can use such effective tool like TunesKit iOS System Recovery to fix your iPhone without data loss.

My “Change with buttons” switch is off in settings, but the phone still rings at full volume in the truck, scaring the crap out of us. It seems the volume of the call and ringer are one and the same, and it you don’t turn it down after a call it will ring super loud. Lame.

When your phone rings in the truck and it’s too loud, you can adjust volume with the radio volume knob. It will then stay at that volume.
